Over training, low t, or both?

I'm 5 weeks into a sarms cycle of lgd,rad, osta,mk and gw.

During this time my strength has gone exponential. All weights up around 25%, some even greater. I've packed on almost 10 pd of muscle. I train hard 3 days a week, but my weekends are also pretty physical. Off days I just do abs, and 10 flights of stairs with 170 pounds of lead on.(Tuesdays and Thursdays)

Just got my bloodwork, and have pretty substantial test drop (like 50%).(580 to 260)

This last Friday, it just hit me. Low energy, didn't feel well, etc. Saturday I did nothing but sit and watch tv all day. I just needed serious rest.

Better today, but I've done pretty much nothing all weekend, just rest.

I'm not sure if the low t is hitting me, overtraining, or both.

Any thoughts or insights appreciated.

This is my first run of anything.

I'm thinking the drop in T levels are the main culprit of your fatigue. However, increased cortisol from pushing too hard for too long could also play a major role. They could both play off each other. For example: Raise cortisol too high and T drops. Conversely, as T drops, cortisol could also show an increase. Your best bet is to get bloods done after a short period of rest and see. Good luck!

You might be a little premature on your assessment of things. Everybody can have a bad workout every once in a while, and you had one. It happens to all of us. I honestly don't think it has anything to do with overtraining or a change in test levels. Regardless of the change in natty test levels you should feel awesome on that stack, especially with rad in there that mimics test.

You did the right thing taking a couple days off. So,etimes your body just tells you to take a day. Plus it's hard to say, but your diet could play a factor, the amount of sleep you got the previous day's, etc....

After this couple rest days just go back in and give it your all. It could end up being one of the best workouts you've had yet

The workout was solid Friday, just felt like Shit the rest of the day. Wound up leaving work early. I think though sleep was factor, now that you mentioned it. Past few days there I wasn't sleeping well at all.

I have sleep problems from my military service days (hyper vigilance) but I take drugs, ear plugs and white noise which generally work. I'll track my sleep better and see how that tracks with how I feel this week. Thx!

What are your goals right now if you leaning out dieting could be the culprit .id raise carbs too maintence calories and rest acouple days let your body reset get some sleep

No problem buddy. Just try to do your best with your sleep and make sure it is adequate. Proper recovery time is extremely important as well

Also make sure you get the right nutrients you need to fuel your workouts and recovery

While I would call that quite a significant drop, T fluctuates wildly all day long. You can crash your T doing careless stuff like training, partying and having little sleep within 24 simple hours. Get bloods the next day and you're in for all kinds of surprises.

I'd keep the diet and sleep in check and then test again. If it's still tanked then you'd know something is up.

Muscle and health are built in the kitchen and bedroom like you would not even believe. Even on gear. Both have the power to destroy you if you don't take them seriously.

We take a substance (feel superhuman) and the endurance makes us push ourselves twice as hard, but then out of habit we don't make up for it with food and rest. And at the end of the day we ARE still human, and it DOES catch up.

Very well said and I agree 100% with you. It's easy to get carried away while on compounds and keep pushing as far as the body will allow you to, but at the end of the day the fact rea,ins the same that the adequate nutrients, rest, and recovery must be there or your body will let you know in a hurry

Yea, I really think I've pushed my body to the point its letting me know enough is enough. Took today off from workout as well, strength/energy is back, but still feel like crap run over twice.

I think this week just going to do some lightweight maintenance workouts. Probably do bloods again next week.

This is very true and not many people understand that there are many different reasons that blood levels can increase or decrease throughout the day with or without any drug use whatsoever. Even stress or environment can give people false readings, shit even the time of the day you take bloodwork matters and can effect the end results. Just hard to make everyone understand that shit is not always plain and simple

hey man if you need permission to not workout for a few days then its granted the gym aint goin nowhere get back to a healthy lively feeling then hit it again, I have been mid cycle and felt like that and did exactly that take a couple to a few days off to not do shit just to let your body catch up and sleep and all that but it sounds like you got that figured out.

I took Monday off for the first time in 9 months, today I felt 50% better, I have tomorrow off as well...;)
Changed things up quite a bit to fit my needs for Summer schedule

yea, even today, still not totally feeling it, so I think I'm just taking the weekoff. But feeling even better.

Also, upped my sleep meds last night, seems on sarms I need to step those up abit. Slept much better and even some vivid dreams.

Yes , change is always good. If you don't add a day or two of rest, you'll find yourself overtraining and getting nowhere.
