Over training, low t, or both?

Try to avoid the sleep meds though, are we talking natty or prescription spec'? They can f@#k with your hormonals pretty badly.

Because they disrupt your neurotransmitters and potentially pituitary functioning.

How do you think they make you sleep to begin with? Every action has an equal and opposite reaction.

Also why people get hooked, and why that's a bad thing.

Make sense but what could be worse not getting any sleep or at least a good one. I understand the getting hooked thing.

Exactly right. A lot of people don't understand the consequences and negatives of running some of these meds and sleep aids they take. Everything you take affects something else

I take trazadone, which technically is an anti depressant, but used for sleep issues because its non addictive.

But I also found I needed to up my meds on this cycle.

I took this week off, in the water tomorrow on a wreck, and back to throwing iron around tuesday.

Feeling back to normal now.

The workout was solid Friday, just felt like Shit the rest of the day. Wound up leaving work early. I think though sleep was factor, now that you mentioned it. Past few days there I wasn't sleeping well at all.

I have sleep problems from my military service days (hyper vigilance) but I take drugs, ear plugs and white noise which generally work. I'll track my sleep better and see how that tracks with how I feel this week. Thx!

I have the same issues from my service days, now almost 2 years retired and depending on your meds it might be playing a factor. Some of the anti-depressants can raise your E levels and result in symptomatic problems such as gyno. I can only sleep when I'm absolutely exhausted, otherwise I roam the house, stay up till exhausted. I get like 4 hours of sleep most days and I know it's preventing some gains, but my sleep meds make me sleep too long, make me irritable as hell and an asshole in general. I compensate with pain meds to make me sleepy. Not recommended, but that's my solution. Talk to your doc about this to resolve it, but to me your rest days aren't really rest days the way you described them. When I take a rest day I rest hard, eat and hydrate.

well, after taking a week off, dosing with clomid and Nolva, and upping my sleep meds, I hit the iron today.

Nothing like throwing a few tons of iron around to start a day.

Light day today, 9 flights of stairs with 170pds on, and simple abs workout. Abit sore from yesterday, but its all good.

We'll see how the rest of the week goes. Tomorrow is legs and arms.
