*(i am right in the middle of my blast)
So I sprained my left wrist yesterday and I can move it front and back but can not supinate or pronate or move it sideways....dr. agrees with me tht it's just a tendon or ligament and has prescribed me a splint/brace to wear for the next week or so .....what should I do as far as the gym goes????

I wouldn't completely deload. Work some legs and what you can without aggravating the wrist. You must have jinxed yourself..lol

Ya I have squats today...I should be able to do then with tht splint keeping wrist stable but I may have to do leg press instead of heavy db lunges if it hurts wrist to carry them...thanks I'll see how it goes....it just sucks Cuz yesterday I lifted more on bench than I ever have before so I was so excited lol

Believe me I know how you feel. I've had some major setbacks.....but it's all in how you bounce back from them brother!! Just keep grindin

Also take some Lysine! About 1000 mg a day. It helps with Tendon, Ligament and joint repairs.

everyone will have their own way of going about this, but if it was me personally i would just take the week off to just relax, rest, recover, heal eat a ton and return as fast as possible and more eager to kill the weights fully. i do the same if i get sick and learned through the years that these types of breaks are crucial at times, so are vacations. took a while for me to understand this, and me being hard headed would used to force this situation. one week will not make or break all your hard work

i thought you said ankle, my bad i would do legs or like angelo said sometimes you can just push it to the point where is more of injured than hurt. take a week off man the gym will still be in the same place when you get back to it
 
Ya I think I'm gonna do tht...I def will take from now untill next Monday off from upperbody...thts 9 days...and I'll take 1g of lysine/day...I'll still have same amount of calories and keep cardio the same...I'll lll just workout legs on tuesday and Friday like normal..but will do leg press instead of db lunges so I am not putting an th strain on my wrist at all.....thanks for ur opinions...it helped make my decision

you can but i personally would not. everyone will be different on how they feel about this bro. I mean what do you believe is going to happen if you decide to just take the week off?

just do some forearm grip clamp exercises from your couch/bed til then haha
 
There was a guy in the gym yesterday with a full neck brace on...he was deadlifting and squatting. He's my new hero. You should be fine.
