Weight training then moderate cardio after??

Hey guys just seeing what u guys think about this. Currently bulking been doing my weight training first then a slow steady state of stair master after for 20 min.. will this affect any gains potential or make my workout pointless doing this after? Thanks
 
If that's the only time you can get cardio in, then you gotta do what you gotta do to get it in bro. My personal opinion, I wouldn't do cardio afterwards or before training. I prefer to split the sessions up entirely like cardio in the morning and training in the evening but I know not everyone can swing that. 20 min isn't a ton of cardio in your case so if you have to do it around your training, it shouldn't have any ill effect.

how would this make you workout pointless ? no it is fine bro everybody does this to knock off a few calories ....
 
The most optimal thing is am cardio then seperate weight training in most cases this is not possible unless your a pro athlete that gets paid too train when you work long hours then one training session is all you can get .most do just that and see no negatives just dont do cardio fisrt. Always do it afterwards when you do it first you deplete muscle glycogen and have a shitty session . xeplete glycogen lifting weights then tap into the fat stores after your done with some steady state cardio . I wouldnt do HIIT post workout though thats gonna be kinda catabolic.
 
Well did some research and it says say your working chest ur working out pumping tons of blood to the muscle well after the workout if u do cardio it takes the blood to the muscle to the legs therfore messing with your workout.. im not sure it's just what's out there on the web.. I just don't wanna mess anything up after my workout.. at this point in can't rely split it up which is why I do slow steady stair master for 20 min
 
i will always be on the side of cardio before... i get up early and do morning cardio and then the gym in the evening but if you cannot do that, which you said you can't, then i would always try to do it before... i am at the point where i always have to do it before otherwise i wont have half the energy i do without have had doing cardio first... it pumps me up and gets me going and i feel so accomplished everytime i get done, i want more... so i take it out on the weights... everyone is different but it makes me hungry for more every day... if you ever can do morning cardio, you will see how much better each day is... i have so much more energy and focus and i feel great all day and then again at night after the gym..

I agree completely with this. I always try to split my cardio completely from weight sessions and not make them at the same timeframe, but I know not everyone has that luxury so sometimes you have to do what you have to do
