I was going to say, I bet you it was Himalayan pink salt. That's essentially as pure and natural as you can get. I have a bodybuilder mate like you. More salt leans him out. I simply cannot understand it. I think it has something to do with HGH levels and potassium channels that can process it. The fact he's also ON HGH I suppose. His stance is:
Iodised sea salt = good.
Himalayan rock salt = best.
Added processed table salts and sodium in foods = bad.
Personally I swear, I even look at something salty and I turn into a puffer fish. I literally have to stay around 1,500, and nearly a gram of that is from organic protein powders alone.
I've been wanting to try cutting all processed salt (not that I have a lot but it's hard to avoid) and just using Himalayan in hearty amounts and seeing how it goes.
