Ok. I started this thread as id like to hear your stories of sleep apnea. I have done 2 sleep studies. Both said i had it mild but i never really slept well with all the wires hooked up to me. I wake up in the am every day and feel like i never even slept. Is this how it was for you? And did a cpap really make that big of a difference?

Fire away all the info you guys have please.

Never had sleep apnea but I suffer from frequent mycolonic jerking so morning I wake up sore as fuck and tired so I feel your pain my uncle uses a cpap and he loves it says its hard to get used to but it's better then not sleeping

I have sleep apnea that I have been treating for ten years with a cpap. I have mild sleep apnea and the cpap did help but recently I had a home sleep study from a place called novasom.com in which you don't have all those wires connected, look them up. They prescribed me with a apap which is automatically adjust to your apneas. Ask your doc to give you a script to get a home sleep study from novasom most insurances cover this as it is far cheaper for them then you going to an overnight lab. There are also mouth devices that dentists usually advise but to me they didn't help much.

That's some very good advice. I remember reading about that kind of thing a while back. Good suggestion.
