High 500's for 59 is great. That's what majority of 26 year olds are walking around with these days.

If you don't want to risk that, don't touch anything IMO. I do think facing recovery at that age is optimistic at best.

At the end of the day though, numbers aren't the be all and end all. Whether or not he should or would benefit from being on TRT is dependant on HOW he feels.

Ya thats a good number. But numbers arnt the end all be all. It depends how u feel. If he feels he needs more then why not.

I agree with this statement 100% my doc told me he treats people not numbers.

That is exactly how people should be treated, and I agree with that completely. Unfortunately most doctors go completely off numbers. Numbers are a great guideline, but nothing more. People can be in a respectable range on everything and still have issues that need addressed. It all depends on the individual
