Newbie with SARMs in hand Log

Re: Newbie with SARMs in hand

Hi everyone

14 days through - wanted to give a quick update

those size 30 pants (to be fair they are generous size 30) I bought last Friday I couldn't button?

well a couple days later I was able to button them - I'm seeing a bunch of friends this Wednesday and my plan is to actually be able to wear them out to an event (as in sit down, yikes!)

tried them on again this morning and I can still button them - I mention that because Wednesday was a major non diet day due to 2 client events (and frankly my cravings)

other than that, diet has been on point

Strength:
still doing lots of bodyweight stuff - ring pullups are going great
shoulders are really coming out (I am relatively new to working out this bodypart)
this week I will start adding in calf workouts to get rid of chicken leg syndrome

Subjective visuals:
lots of compliments this week - first time in ages I wore a semi fitted dress shirt to a client lunch
never thought I would have the confidence in pulling that off
my colleague commented on how I'm turning into an upside down triangle - that was really nice to hear
goal is to wear the same shirt and before mentioned jeans to see my buddies on our guy's night out on Wednesday night

really no complaints - I'm kinda excited because I thought I read this stuff really starts kicking in after 2-4 weeks so the fact I'm this pleased already is really freakin' exciting

next formal update will be next Friday morning - diet wise should be clean until then with the exception of Wednesday, looks like I'm averaging about 6 clean days a week

really hoping this synergy, SARMs, and now this S4 really helps to push me push myself harder

thanks everyone!

Re: Newbie with SARMs in hand

just random post
taking first day off from gym/working out in 13 days
yesterday, went out with some collegues and friends twice, diet wise, an absolute donkey punch
o well, suck it up, move on - I knew it was going to happen

those new pants I bought 2 weeks ago, well, I got into them, which I had already posted, but yesterday was able to actually sit down in them

which was pretty awesome, next goal is to actually be able to wear them to an event
crossing my fingers - hoping that is going to be next Saturday

next 9 days will be very disciplined...

will do my 3 week update tomorrow after my ring pullups update

Re: Newbie with SARMs in hand

Hi everyone

21 days through - wanted to give a quick update
got through first week also adding S4 to the stack - no vision issues, then again I've been really strict with the dosage

As you know I'm on a keto style plan, had a high calorie keto day last Sunday, and just a diet donkey punch on Wednesday which I already mentioned in my post yesterday

Strength:
didn't start leg training as I was planning - need to get in something this week
ring pullups - wow, was able to get my best workout in like ever - I usually aim for 50 and it takes me like 25 minutes or so, some days as much as 35 minutes
this morning cranked out 10 strict sets of 5 within 18 minutes! holy crap

got some great shoulder workouts in as well and even started hitting chest again (I have a slight tear I think)

I trained about 13 days in a row, took a day off, and gonna hit hard for the next week

Subjective visuals:
compliments coming in from wife everyday as she is very supportive
my friend the other day said she thought my arms were going to burst out of my shirt - lol!
still admiring the new slight chest/shoulder veins - super super cool

hunger is really going up? is that normal?

next formal update will be next Friday morning - diet wise I should be totally clean up until then, I have no social things planned at all

thanks everyone!

you generally don't see a hunger increase with sarms but it is a possibility although unlikely...

nice work thus far bro! keep working hard as there are far more gains to come! keep the updates coming!

Re: Newbie with SARMs in hand

Hi everyone

at the end of my 29th day - wanted to give a quick update

got through second full of week of S4: at night if I get up to hit the head I feel like a raccoon is over my eyes in sorts, but no biggie...
it's only like at 3 in the morning - not going to stress about it

keto style plan: had a high calorie keto day last Sunday but other than that no 'cheat' foods through yesterday
kept calories between 1100 and 1600, depending on the day and how I feel

Strength:
got in a leg workout as I promised - did dumb bell squats supersetted with landmine presses

been really hitting shoulders hard - and it's starting to show which is great feeling
did dips for the first time in a year: knocked out 10 sets of 6 with really good form

ring pullups - are totally going great, I love doing these
strength going up in all areas (except for legs as I just started those) and pumps are fantastic

Subjective visuals:

still admiring the growing slight chest/shoulder veins - super super super super super cool
I have actual arms (at least for me)
went to a baby shower today of friends I haven't seen in months and both brothers almost fell on the floor - it was great to have them squeeze by back and arms, lol
I couldn't believe how proud I felt - the elder brother saw me in April when I had already lost 20 lbs this year and was like - holy crap!

I'm so appreciative of the help I'm getting from this group/forum, Dylan, and the stack he has me on
all my clothes are fitting better, I actually have some sort of shape, and although I have a LONG way to go, this experiment kept me from throwing in the towel
I find with this protocol I am more inclined to eat healthier, less calorically, and lift a lot more

my wife who has always been supportive has really noticed nice changes over the last month, so thank you Dylan for telling me to just stick with it and working hard

next formal update will be next Saturday morning - diet wise I had a cheatish day planned today, but I am ending up with no refined sugar, which is usually my downfall, a lot of proteins and mostly clean carbs, so for me not a great cheat day lol (which is fantastic as I'm usually balls deep in 3 croissants my midday) - tomorrow is a leanish day with my in-laws coming over (what I am calling dirty keto: no calorie count strict low carb), then monday through Friday at least next week of less than 20 grams, healthy fats, proteins, and a lot of lifting...

I have never ever ever posted crap, and I'm not a BB by a long shot, just a 41 year old consultant trying to be less of a fatty who 8 years ago couldn't do a single chin
up so please don't shred me to pieces...

Left to right
1st is May 31 2013 right after I got back from Europe
2nd is June 26th, 2015 first day on stack
3rd is today - July 25, 2015 after

thanks everyone!

bro im so proud of what your doing... i remember when you started and look at the progress already... your just getting going my friend... although you have a long way to go, you have come so far so fast... the important thing is to stay on track and push harder every day... you see results, you celebrate for the day and then get right back to work... use every day as a chance to improve and accomplish more just as you are... excellent work and keep the updates coming!

Re: Newbie with SARMs in hand

Hi everyone

Start of my 36th day - wanted to give a quick update

got through third full of week of S4: still have racoon eyes at night
I'm an early riser and never drive at night, so this isn't an issue for me
worth the cost, plus it makes taking a leak at night a little more adventerous

Diet
I updated last Saturday, which was a decent cheatish day for me, no refined sugar
the next day was all clean foods with my in laws (I cooked) - no real calorie count, just salmon, and homemade nam prik with ground pork and dover sole
brownies that were made with tigernut flour (remind me to post the recipe, crazy good)
experimented with some offal - did some lamb brain fritters with gluten free flour

Monday through Friday
Calorie controlled keto
Between 1100 to 1400 a day, 95% whole foods, a little shake here and there to quell a little sweet tooth

Today doing a clean refeed - meaning no junk food, all home cooked food
(eggs, smoked salmon, homemade pulled pork with sugar free sauce, etc...)
just so I don't go donkey punch a cream pie or apple crepe when I'm in SF at a friend's picnic

Strength:
really happy about strength

still hitting shoulders hard - and it's starting to show which is great feeling - actually first time I see definition in a pic which is super exciting
did weighted dips for the first time in years - felt pretty crazy

ring pullups - as always, really fun - doing them tomorrow

Subjective visuals:

mOTHER in law last week who saw me for the first time since March : "now the bloat is gone" LOL

went over to my parent's house yesterday and my mom was beaming with pride as to how I looked
she even had me stand up to show my brother when he came in - being a touch traditional and very family oriented this felt amazing
even my dad, who like all Indian dads is tough, said he was super proud of my hard work and discipline
I even wore a Nike sleeveless shirt - which I actually pulled off decently
My little brother, who is actually quite a big man and was the buff lean one growing up, said "damn dawg, lookin' lean"

I said ya I'm working on it, it's a process. Proceeded to get a plain Iced Americano. Super helps to get results, because then you feel like it's worth it to keep trying.
In the past, I'd say - fuck it, I'll have a 7 layer bar and a croissant
Now, I"m like - nah, I gotta do dips tomorrow morning again - so zero calorie iced espresso is fantastic

this morning, and I'm a married guy so I'm not one of those 'guy who talks to gals at the gym' kinda guy, a really attractive gal started asking me for workout advice at the gym, just outa the blue
that happens like never, seriously

oh, and I wore a medium size workout shirt - had previously been wearing a large

AGAIN IT NEEDS TO BE SAID:
I'm so appreciative of the help I'm getting from this group/forum, Dylan, and the stack he has me on

I put on a Ted Baker suit I bought a few years ago, one I couldn't button up in December went I went to a Google party, and my wife was like:
"Damn, honey, who have to bring the middle in - it looks like a tent now!"

next formal update will be next Saturday morning - again, today is a non calorie counting yet still clean low carb day
rest of the week will be very calorie and macro controlled
just been dealing with a lot and lot of hunger lately
drinking a lot of carbonated water and meditating

LEGACY TEXT FROM LAST WEEK:
