Iv been a car salesman for 3 years now, and pretty good at my job. I sell Jeep, Dodge, Ram and Fiat. sorry if i babble i just need to vent
I must vent: We have a few 2014 Fiats that have not sold..still brand new.. but 2 years old.. and HEAVILY discounted..why the colors and options are poor, but still a new car. You always get the cheap assholes asking about them. "O well do you have one thats '' " " "" no sir we just have a few and this is all of them...well I dont like the color... can you take off another 3k.. (all this shit I can deal with) on the weekend this asian couple comes in "we have looked at the 500L's before and we dont need to test drive, "we know that you have a couple 2014s we would like to see those" out of the 5 cars they picked out the one thats most loaded and its yellow. they immediately tell me "our budget is tight" can we get a pen and paper an think about the price we would like to offer, i sit them in the lounge and after 40 min they tell me "we like the car but we need to think about it" after a few emails now they tell me well do you have the car in another color... i told them no you saw what we have, no if you want a 2015 we have more colors and its still discounted but not like 2014s. they keep low balling me... i finally get them to agree if i can get the car for 17k otd(out the door, includes all taxes and fees) we have a deal? this is a 24k car. He says yes... a few hours go by (I can make the deal, although its very tight i know i can, but i dont want to rush back with an ok) he sends me an email saying i dont like the color can you make the 2015 be that price in a different color .... Im not racist but i seriously hate to deal with asians, arabs, and indians when buying a car. the cheapest people ever and they are all loaded with perfect credit... but they have to make you throw up and spend HOURS before they agree to some low ball offer... fuck me
