Yes, a lot of people on that dose of test including myself don't even need an AI at all
You know what's messed up? I see my TRT doc once a year for blood work. Then he calls me to go over the lab. He says everything looks good. So, I mention my low estrogen and suggest, maybe, I should cut down on the dose. I'm at 5.5 (low). He asks, "why lower it do your joints hurt?" I'm thinking what am I supposed to wait until my freaking joints hurt to change the dosage. I told him I've played around with the dosage in the past. I get silence on the phone for like 10 secs. Then he annoyingly says "that's the protocol". I didn't want to push it and then he doesn't give me my shit. So, I kinda back tracked and said I mistakenly forgot to take it a few times.
I just monitor myself and adjust accordingly without telling him.
