Unequal strength, do you care?

Just hit the gym and did biceps today.

Seated isolation dumbbell curls 4 sets with the 50lb dumbbell, left arm 8-8-8-7. Right arm 7-7-6-5. I'm right handed which is weird as well but do any of you guys have this issue?

Would you be concerned about doing something to equal them out? Should I try and throw more reps on the right arm after done with the left to try an equal them out, or who the hell actually cares? lol

I don't really have an imbalance bad enough that it results in less reps on one arm than the other, but if I did I would probably concentrate on doing a lot more BB movements so it will force your lacking arm to do more work

(PM me for a price list for Biotech Labs and 10% discount)

I think that bb movments allow compensation by the dominant arm. Do an extra set or a few more reps with the weaker arm to catch it up is my recommendation.

Thanks Gents, I'll try an extra set maybe drop down 5-10 lbs and crank out as many as possible until failure?

i never have that problem and whats funny for me is that im right handed and sometimes i even feel like my left side is stronger on certain things... i really don't have any imbalances though.. i have made it a point to push my left side so hard over the years to ensure that everything is right on point with each other...

Yeah that's the weird thing I'm right handed and my left arm is quite stronger than the right.

then you really need to focus on getting them to equal out bro.. you can't continue to go on like that... you must work on concentration exercises and your just going to have to push yourself to the highest limit on your right side and get them equivalent...

Think about it.. if your right handed and you have groceries or a kid you'll carry them with your left arm and use your right arm to unlock the door because your coordination is better with your dominant hand. I don't know if that's the real reason but seems like the case.
