I used to train heavy on squats and deads. The most I've reached was 425 x 2 on squats and deads 1RM @ 475. After that I was pretty much done with lower body workouts. I'll work them out probably once in a blue moon but I don't hit them anymore because I don't care for them. I'm not a competitive body builder...
I like walking up the stairs in my house and I like being able to walk down them without having to hold on to my dear life on the rail & I like being able to wear pants that aren't tight around my thighs which is super uncomfortable plus it's nice having space for my TESTICLES.
Try walking thru Disney world or anywhere for a while with those hard worked massive quads and tell me u don't leave with a nasty red baby rash...I do try to train calves since they're pretty much out there when wearing shorts though. With that being said I focus mostly on upper body & calves. No hammies or quads. Fuck that.![]()

I have to admit that walking around limping all the time does suck and get old fast. However, I do like to hit my legs hard, and I like a proportionate physique. In the end it all comes down to what you want as an individual. I don't have any hate on people that don't train legs. It's their body to do with as they please, even if it isn't my cup of tea
