Tomorrow is the start of a new year, and for many of us here, it doesn't mean a whole lot. Most of us are committed to always setting and achieving new goals, so it's more of the same and just another day. We should always strive to be better each day, and the time of the year doesn't change that right?
Well, let me give you a bit of a different perspective....and a little bit of thought from my mind. While our own personal physical goals remain a constant, I'd like to challenge you all to strive to make the difference in others going into 2017. The gyms will be flooded with new people starting next week, and people looking to make a change to their lives. They are at an extremely vulnerable state as they start, but they have taken the first step to making a change for the better. When you see these people, take a moment to introduce yourself....welcome them to the gym, make them feel at home, and just maybe that will give them the encouragement they need to keep pushing forward. After all, many of us are a little intimidating to newcomers, and a thoughtful friendly "hello" can go a long way.
I'd also challenge you all to take this and incorporate this into your daily lives. Let's make this world a better place to live in. Each one of us can be the difference
