Bromocriptine vs Cabergoline

Hey guys I don't see bromociptine discussed too much on the forum.. What's the reason for that? I realize that cabergoline is better and less side-effects but some of us only have access to good old bromocriptine. How should bromocriptine be dosed if using a cycle that might increase prolactin?

BROMOCRIPTINE should always be taken with food. Introduce BROMOCRIPTINE gradually according to the suggested scheme. Dosage may then be increased by 2.5mg daily at 2 to 3 day intervals, as follows:- 2.5mg eight hourly, 2.5mg six hourly, 5mg six hourly. Daily doses should not exceed 30 mg. If hypertension, suggestive chest pain, severe progressive or unremitting headache, or any signs of CNS toxicity develop, treatment should be discontinued immediately.

Basically a pain in the ass.

Bromo is not going to be effective enough to lower prolactin enough for a cycle involving nandrolones at moderate doses for the most part. That's why it really isn't discussed. Caber or Prami is preferred, wth caber being the best choice because of the side effects from Prami

I used .125mg Bromo eod and 1000mg B6 ed while running 600mg combined nandralones....It controlled my prolactin very well
BUT...my body responds very differently to many compounds...so take it with a grain of salt..YMMV

you dont see bromo talked about often because its like a minor league type of protectant... it wont control prolactin... it may help to attempt to suppress it but its too risk for me to consider using... its mainly used with oral type nandrolones, mainly prohormones and that was where it was actually effective but if your talking about using it with tren, deca or npp, then no way would i use it...
