At 62 Tell Me What To Do!

I am a 62 years old British boy, 6' 2" and, currently, 14 stones or 240 pounds fairly lean but with a little bit of annual "winter waist". Historically, due to my genetics, I've always had difficulty adding weight in any form, muscle or fat, but kept fit through my love of bicycles, long-distance walking, canoeing, rowing and using my home multi-gym. Recently I joined a bodybuilding gym and am being put thru my paces four times weekly by a personal trainer. We are concentrating on the five basic strength and bulking exercises.

He has suggested that a course of 'juice' would be of great benefit in my aim to add a little more muscle to my lean frame so I would be much obliged if any members experienced in this area could advise me as to what to take and when. I have easy access to top quality injectable Sustanon 250, Nandrolone (Deca Durobolin) and Trenbolone.

If you read this and want to respond, can you kindly not use abbreviations as, apart from understanding "pct", I'm a total newbie! Lol. :-D

Thanks in advance.

Its great to hear a gent at your age is still in great shape. Its very inspiring and i hope i can also do the things you do at your age. As far as recomending anything to take, i can not do that as im a newb myself. Other members here are way more experienced and perhaps know of someone your age using juice. Again thanks for telling us about yourself and im sure others here will help you out.

I would just go see a TRT doc. It's much safer and the TRT doses they give are often on the high side. You'll enjoy some nice gains from the testosterone. No need to complicate things especially if your body is not used to AAS compounds. Getting bloods done is so damn important and that would be one of the major benefits of getting in with a TRT clinic. At 62 jumping right on a stack with deca or tren is fucking insanity and reckless. Just build a better version of yourself and be safe bro. Read up on sarms, you've come to the right place. I buy my sarms from Sarmsx it's the best quality.

Good to see age not being an excuse.

It may be different there, but in the US the only qualification a gym "trainer" needs is to be able to count to 12. So your guy is most likely not the person to recommend anything.

This guy is 99% probably just trying to sell you something.

I agree on getting a blood test and maybe TRT

at 62, if you go on juice, you will likely be on it for the rest of your life.

At our age, I think SARMS are a better alternative, as you dont have the shutdown, just suppression.

At 59, my first SARMS cycle was lgd/rad/osta/GW and packed on almost 12 pds of muscle.

I too have later considered a short blast of test, but the strong likelyhood of permanent shutdown is too high.

I'd urge you to reconsider and not listen to your trainer, he doesnt know what he's talking about.

I wouldn't advise listening to this trainer at all bud. First and foremost you need to get some bloodwork done to see where your levels are at. You may be a good candidate for TRT.

Whether you go on trt or its not needed, after that sarms could be a great addition for you. Steroids are riddled with side effects and you don't want that at your age. Sarms are mild and pretty much side effect free, but will give you amazing results.

Many thanks for the advice so far.
Going to see a "TRT doc" here in England isn't going to be straightforward. Finding one would be the first hurdle and paying for his services another. However, getting a blood test done would be easy and I can get one carried out at no cost from my own doctor.

start with that and then you can post it here and we can evaluate it for you first and give you the proper guidance...

Thanks Dylan, much appreciated advice. When I go to my doctor for a blood test do I need to ask him to look for any particular results?

Wow, that's some list! One thing I can say is that my bilirubin levels are very high. In 2014, I was diagnosed with Matzhold Syndrome. I'll get a new test done asap and post the results. 👍

yes bro, those are the necessary tests... it looks a lot larger than it is but thats the necessary reading and tests to evaluate

I'm going on 52 and my test levels recover nicely. Aas have given me new life in the gym. I'd say try sarms first then try a cycle of test at 250 MG a week. You will love the results.

Sorry if I'm being a bid dense here but we don't understand why our Yankee cousins measure some liquids by weight. Here in Britain (and all over Europe) small quantities of liquids are measured in mililitres (ml) and I can't equate 250 miligrams into ml. Can anyone help?

the metric system is the socialization of the measurement system. :)

for example 250mg test you'd get, is 250 milligrams of test in 1 Milliliter. So if you dose 1ml, you get 250mg of test. 1ml == 1 CC

its all good bro... i know its different... jp covered it for you... its very simple as he said... if your concentration level is 300 MG/ML then every ONE ML is 300 mg etc...

Dylan, apologies for the delay but here are the results of my blood test. Testosterone levels are not shown as they were not tested for reasons unknown to me. Listed above are all the test results exactly as given to me and nothing has been left out. These blood test results came from blood taken in December 2015 but I had another done last week and get my latest list on Thursday this week.
