Just did chest today and I wouldn't even call it 100% day but I managed to press 335x2 today after a 3 set warm up. Not the heaviest but still a PR. With my new body weight increase I'll have to work on it to as close to 420 as I can. I'd like to bench twice my weight one day [emoji16] just a stupid goal but it would be cool to know I did it.

Not a stupid goal at all. PR's are addicting in their own way. I too have always wanted the double body weight bench since I was in HS. Back then I didn't think I'd ever really do it, slowly creeping up there though.

2:1 strength ratio is never a stupid goal bro. As far as athletes are concerned that's considered elite. As far as weightlifters, that's still good to go depending on you bw.

That's a really nice lift Jack! I don't bench anymore because of what it does to my shoulders, But I have done over twice body weight when I pressed 405 at a 190 bodyweight, and it is a very nice milestone indeed

It's an awsome feeling bro, very hard to accomplish, I did it when I was 26, Im now 41 and I don't see me evey doing it again lol
My joints can't handle the heavy weight no more. I now just focus on repping out weight on the bench.
