They definitely seem to make it out that just by using steroids you are definitely exposing yourself to infectious diseases. Nowhere do they mention needle sharing, but they do say that of the men studied, only 20% had used condoms in the past year during sex. Just seems a little infuriating that they intentionally skewed data in an attempt to scare people into thinking
That you may catch hiv just by merely using injectable steroids

Thoughts?

Studies are almost always skewed, especially when they're trying to undermine a certain subject. It's a shame, really.

In england there is a lot of steroid abuse from the lads who like the other lads. They failed to point this out, and left their complete bias in place. It is popular in gay clubs to use test for the sex drive and for the pitcher to look good to the catcher. Most barely even workout. It is a shame that someone actually put this writing as a study.Very laughable crap here

And this is a prime example of why I don't put much stock into studies. They are almost always biased and flawed

Those guys in england pinning each others glutes with the same pin in a sweaty locker room dont apply too everybody LMAO

Yet another skewed article written based on some useless study. It is and has been common knowledge for quite some time now that sharing needles is what puts a person at risk. It has nothing to do with what is being injected. 2 diabetics could share insulin needles and be just at risk. If anyone reads this article and concludes that injecting steroids-or anything else for that matter-will spontaneously breed HIV out of no where then they should be afraid.

It just shows how totally unprofessional the article really is. Do you think that someone got paid to do this or is it just some propaganda made to look professional? Either way it did not seem to fool anyone except to make a fool of the author.

I am not really sure what the take away from the article is supposed to be, but it's 2 minutes of my life I will never get back. I would like to believe the author was told to write on an article on this and just did so. Unfortunately, there are a lot of articles out there on all sorts of issues/topics that don't make any sense. Even more unfortunate is the fact that someone, somewhere will read this and draw the conclusion that steroids can lead to HIV/Hep C infection.
