Sleep and body warmth and how it relates to hypertrophy

So here's the thought process bro's. When we sleep we grow obviously. When we're warm, blood tends to be pushed towards the outer layers of your body to regulate body temperature. When you're colder it's pushed deeper towards your core. Any thoughts on which is better for hypertrophy? I like to be warm, but I sleep cool so I can keep as much blood in the organs/muscles bellies as possible. I don't know what's better and I'm always trying to grow more so this intrigues me.

when its cooler the body goes into a deeper sleep and when you sleep deeper means more REM which means more GH. Let me see where i can find that info ive read it before and i want to make sure so standby

this is one of the reasons i believe is directly related to why tren use results in more cutting, only speculation however as there are no studies to back that just experiences and general processing of attainable information

i know bro, its just the first study ive read and their not always easy to interpret lol

Effects of cold exposure

The difference between cold exposure and heat exposure is that cold exposure mainly affects the later segment of sleep, where REM is dominant [63]. In semi-nude subjects, cold exposure mainly affects REM due to suppression of the thermoregulatory response

so apparently the most efficient way to control thermalregulation during sleep is through hydrotherapy, ever thought of sleeping in the bathtub ? hahaha !

So after reading a few studies from the US and abroad seems that the best temp for optimal sleep and growth would be a cooler temperature. Not hot, not cold but just cooler.. too hot can affect REM and so can being too cold.

I like it cold, literally when I wake up in the winter months the temp in my bedroom is usually around 45° -50° Even at that temp and only one blanket I am usually hot in the morning, it sucks real bad though when going back in the bedroom after the shower Wooo!!!!

Is not likely either method will result in hyperteophy (inctease in muscle growth) The benefit comes from hitting REM (Rapide Eye Movement) sleep even longer and this is body opportunity to make repairs and growth. Trul is no matter what position you sleep in, you are momentary cutting off blood supply (and O2 levels) in crrtain tissues! This can not be avoided. In cooler temperatures, you will be in REM sleep longer and body will put the time to good use!

I would keep doing what you are doing! Geeting quality sleep is a much bigger benefit than concern over blood flow! Bottom line? You can not sleep suspended in mid air, which os only way I can see any real possible change because of blood flow!

Get best deep sleep you can. I think you are over thinking it too much! That is my job!! Hahahaha!!

Nights when I toss and turn 95% of the time it's because it's too hot, lower the temp 3-4 degrees and I fall right back asleep

I spent all this time between posts reading up. So cooler temps are better for REM and therefore more hormones released, however the key word is cool, not cold as cold causes a whole other reaction. I am regulated to two truly comfy sleep positions because as Dorin stated my body weight will limit blood flow to weighted down limbs. Besides I'm actually heavy to myself sadly but oh well. Anyways cool sleep assists muscle growth apparently.

You know I've been eyeing some gel cooler toppers for my mattress, I already have a topper but I think it traps heat. I just purchased a new 2000 count sheet set seems to help some but the cooling gel might be what I need
