Just got my male hormone panel results. Not what I was expecting. Not exactly sure how to understand these numbers. I will place them below. If anyone can help me to understand I would be grateful.

DHEA/S - 5 normal
Progesterone - 36 normal
Androstenedione - 141 low
Estrone - 46 normal
Testosterone - 58 normal
Estradiol - 7 high
DHT - 77 normal

The description beside each number is from the lab. This lab is a general blood work lab and not a HRT lab. 2 years of suffering from what I though we're low T symptoms and now I don't know. I recently received my results from my physical and I'm apparently in great shape for my age. I will put bio stats below.

44 year old male
6'1"
193 lbs
Working out consistently since June of 2012.
BF % 15-18
Low T symptoms include, but are not limited to:
Loss of muscle mass the last 2 years
Libido
Terrible sleeping patterns
Almost impossible to regain mass
Unexplained gain in body fat
Irritability, etc.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What are the ranges though? are you at the bottom of the range or mid to high? Mine were measured in different units but in one test I was below range and the second I was in range but right at the bottom, but it was labeled normal.

I hear what you're saying. The ones that say normal beside them were right in the middle of the range. The andro that was low was 1 digit below what is considered "low normal". The estradiol was at a 7, with normal range being 1-3, or just over double normal.

No. Have never done a cycle or taken anything. These symptoms I'm having the last 2 years resembled what I've read as possible Low T. So I asked a doctor for a test and this is the result.

The high estrogen probably has a lot to do with many of your problems. I would recommend running some Aromasin to get that in check. Testosterone is within normal range so I don't see an issue there

Get your thyroid checked. Fat gain, irritability, always tired or bad sleep? Id also try to get every possible test the doctor can order. Maybe even ask for a glocuse reading.

A 24 hour access medical clinic will do a thyriod test for $4 without insurance. Its crazy cheap and you'll get results in 3-4 days

you are not low testosterone...but you are high in estradiol
There are MANY causes for your symptoms other than low test...including high estradiol
your best option is find a good endocrinologist that can properly diagnose and treat you

I have the ranges and info finally. I'll post below.

DHEA/'S - Normal range is considered between 3 and 10 ng/ml. Mine is 5.

Progesterone - Normal range is between 5 and 95 pg/ml. Mine is 36.

Androstenedione - Normal range is between 141 and 350 pg/ml. Mine is 141.

Estrone - Normal is between 30 and 58 pg/ml. Mine is 46.

Free Test - Normal is between 40 and 70 pg/ml. Mine is 58.

Estradiol - Normal range is between 1 and 3 pg/ml. Mine is 7.

DHT - Normal is between 52 and 123 pg/ml. Mine is 77.

Pg/ml is apparently picograms per milliliters.

Ng/ml is nanograms per milliliters.

So obviously the Estradiol is the concern. Tomorrow I meet with my doctor and will see what he says. He may refer me to an endocrinologist. We'll see.

boom there it is estradiol. be interested to see what he says about it. and you have never ran a cycle prohomones, supplements, anything? not nothing?

just to set you at ease I had high estro last year and I was totally "bitchin" out cryin for no reason etc etc a little aromasin killed that shit quickly. and I guess I should ask you are you planning on running a cycle or sarms or something? just curious as to why you came here to ask those questions but its all good welcome

Thanks for your replies. Quite helpful. Coming to this forum had two purposes. One, to gain information regarding my issues and see if others had run into similar problems. It appears others have, and now I am better informed, and have some new questions for my doctor tomorrow. The second, is that I want to do a cycle. Plain and simple. Other than the issues I've been describing, I'm a very fit person. No other health issues for a 44 year old male. What I'd like to do is follow a bulking cycle of test, and the proper PCT, and see how I feel during and after. I've found that over the last 2 years or so I've lost considerable strength and muscle mass, even though my workouts have been consistent. It's quite disheartening. That's pretty much it.

Just finished my doctors appointment. Showed him the results. He said he wouldn't treat me for the high estradiol. He said the amount is miniscule. All he would do is refer me to an endocrinologist. Both my GP, and my urologist are very much against hormone replacement therapy. They both told me that. They talked about prostate cancer and other risk factors. So I guess I'll wait until I see the endocrinologist, and see what happens. Being this is Canada, that might be a year.

at a minimum I would get something to lower it, sarmsx has liquid armoasin that is the bomb I take half the recommended dose and it keeps me in check on trt.
