Guitar players?

Any guitar players here? I've been playing guitar since I was a teenager and I'm 45 now...

Pretty sweet man. I'm not a guitar player, but I've been a drummer since I was in 5th grade, so I have a lot of appreciation for musicians in general.

Nice... I'm a guitar player but I've always wanted to switch over to drums, but I never did. I've been in a couple bands and the playing skills of the drummer can make or break the band for sure.

Oh yeh man I agree with you, but the same can be said about everyone in the band really. It's takes talent from everyone which is the beauty in music. When you have that synergy of skill with everyone, it's truly magical. And that's what music is all about

Here's my baby... Gibson J-200

Absolutely beautiful! Love a Gibson. I play myself. Got a Washburn les paul signature series with the Gibson 57 gold pickups its solid white and badass. Trying to pick up a lil lead. I mostly play rhythm on electric acoustics. I had a nice ovation celebrity I sold recently. My play around practice guitar is an Ibanez nylon string (better on the fingers) I do a lil finger picking too.

Here is my Gibson LP...My son has My gibson SG and my SGjr. I own a fender strat and a few Mexico Squires too but they are packed away so no pics... I go in and out on playing at this point in life. Ive never been a "classicial" player...Punk Oi! raw guitar.

Thanks! Yeah I don't play much lead either. I'm a strummer and I like to write melodies in different tunings...

Ooh jesus christ. Im a drummer too. I used to gig all the time back in the 80's and 90's. Had some good times back then. I miss playing. My ex threw out most of my Ludwig drums and zildjian cymbals when i removed myself from the house. I could have strangled her for that

I was a natural playing the drums. But I also owned a nice Gibson les paul custom. I used to play a few chords, but I'd never be able to master it like I did with drumming.
playing for people in an audience is the greatest high on earth. The only way I can describe it is to plugging yourself into a million volts of electricity and having them enter your body. It's like getting energized. The fucking electricity that flowed thru your body while playing is unbelievable……

It's kind of the same idea when I listen to a good lead guitar in a song, (like stairway to heaven) the fucking hair on my arms stand straight up!!

American strat, classic les Paul 60's reissue gold top . Cheap lil mando got off Craig's list . I play my acoustic more than anything , a 1980 sigma made by Martin .
