Fasted cardio useless????

There was another that I found some time ago. I'll see if I can find it. Basically the study says there was no significant difference between fasted and non fasted cardio. I've always done fasted cardio and I feel that works well for me. I like seeing the studies and I just add them to my knowledge base but still rely on what I've found works best for me based on experience. Just my thoughts dude. I know you do the same.

I recall reading somewhere about fasted workouts causing less testosterone production. But I can't find it, and searching seems to dispute that

Yeah but this one study gives no reasoning and doesn't debunk that fat stops brewking down when insulin is released. I hope it's true you can eat and run and still burn fat. I just can't find any science or logic that supports that. It's like saying gravity doesn't pull on all things. Insulin is anabolic and forces the utilization of glucose for energy instead of being catabolic and brewking down tissue.

I always eat first and immediately after do cardio in the morning. Works fine for me. I've used it to cut as well with good results

This is a debate that never has any conclusive answers really on both sides. I personally don't think it's more beneficial to do fasted cardio versus not. Everything I've read and researched points to the fact that everything comes down to thermodynamics at the end of the day. Cardio burns calories to help you reach a defecit....period. It doesn't matter if it's fasted or not. That gets figured in along with your daily caloric intake to give you your calories in versus calories out when it's all said and done.

Some people prefer fasted training....some don't. I wouldn't get caught up in whether one is more beneficial than the other and just do whatever it is that works for you. For example, most of the week none of my training is fasted. However in weekends I do cardio first before eating, just because of simplicity and the way my schedule is structured. I don't overthink it and it works well for me that way.

Ok heres the reality on fasted cardio . when you do cardio in the morning your overall goal is a metabolic increase through the entire day . when blood sugar is low and your in a fat burning state fasted you will tap into more fat stores however. As long as your in a caloric defict over the entire day the effect will be the same and fasted cardio has a catabolic effect and your risking lean muscle also and if your too depleted too give it your all and your cardio is a shitty session your metabolic raise over the course of the day will be less . so when you look at all angles it seems better too at least have a protien shake and some low glycemic carbs first because the raise in metabolism is what you want not too burn fat directly during cardio . especially if it means tearing down leg muscle in a fasted state not the best idea
