I am I need of some insight from others that have more experience and knowledge. I have been somewhat of an athlete throughout my adolescent and adult life . I wrestled, practiced martial arts, and had my fun with "CrossFit" (I know.....). Well it's been about a year that I've been really getting into Powerlifting, like obsessed/addicted to PR kind of shit. I fell in love with the sport instantly.
I've done about 3 Test only cycles during my early 20's . It's been about 10 years since I ran a cycle , and I really want to run one that would benefit my strength; as well as , help me gain at least 10-15lbs of lean muscle. I currently would compete in the 198lb weight class, but eventually I'd like to compete at the 220lbs weight class.
1. What would be the advantages of running a Tbol/Test cycle as opposed to Drol/Test for powerlifting.
2. My goal is to work on a physique similar to the powerlifter Larry Wheels . I am a mesomorph so I think I can achieve something somewhat similar, now the elite strength that's another beast.
My Stats:
Height: 5"10
Weight: 204
BF% 15% (being conservative)
Age: Early 30's
Lifts(natty): Bench: 335 Squat: 475 Deadlift: 585
Any advice would be a big help.
