what's up guys so about 10 days ago i was doing crunches and i felt this weird pop like in my V line lower ab area, and it's not painful but it's sore, and i can feel it sometimes getting sore almost like a cramp feeling when i lay down still 10 days later, and i did abs again 5 days ago and it popped , and again today and same area same pop, it's not a bone that's just cracking it's something else and it's weird, anybody know what this is? i feel it when i bench too , kinda tightening up
a lot of people are telling me it's a hernia but i had a hernia before and it didn't feel like this, this just feels really weird

Hernia possibly. i'm thinking strain of the inguinal ligament. is it right along the groin?

Go easy for a couple of days. If ligament it will improve. Hernia does not just get better in general

I've had hernias and they were not sore when lying down. And the popping sound isn't anything I've experienced either.
Keep us updated Tazz. And good luck Bud. Hope it's nothing!

Bend your left knee out to the side and gently guide the knee toward the floor. Let it fall until you feel a stretch in your adductors and inguinal ligament. Stay in the stretch for 15 to 30 seconds, and release. Do a second stretch, then extend the leg and repeat with the right leg.

I copied this for you. If you try this stretch and it hurts like fuck it's the ligament.

Can you feel it when you cough?

Tazz, we are just guessing! You need a computed tomography! At least an ultrasound! Find out before this gets worse.

Go get it checked out. There's no way of guessing what's going on without professional medical advice

I agree in many cases. However if you were engaged in an activity and felt a pop it may be "only" a ligamentous strain.

Not saying it's nothing to be concerned about.

If you twisted your ankle more than likely you would rest it a bit before seeing the doc. Many times it heals on it's own.

Not providing medical advice just what I consider good sense.

Of course if there was a rent (tear) in the area and a loop of intestine was bulging out get to the doc.

JMO.

Before a $900 CT scan try the ligament test I referenced. best of luck.

thanks bro, going to try this now, i'll let you know !
