a lot of times, you can get very small hernias, that are nothing like what you would expect.. sometimes a little ball will form there and they dont even remove them, they will put a net over them etc. or sometimes you can just keep them there with no treatment... i have had that for nearly 15 years now and never had them do a thing and the pain went away after a few weeks but i would not push it because if it is a small hernia, clearly you can turn it into something larger... so i would not mess with it at least a week and if its still a problem, you definitely should go to the doctor... it may not even be that but its a possibility...
