Hey guys new to this forum and love the info that is on here. I have watched alot of Dylans videos and enjoy them and have learned alot. I got a question tho...I am a 195lb mesomorph with 12% bodyfat. I workout on the regular 5 times a week and have lost about 40lbs of bodyfat in 7 months. My question is in regards to steroids. I am not a fan of the crazy mass bulk look and rather prefer the aesthetic lean dry look that Dylan mentions countless times in his videos. Now as a natural mesomorph with broad shoulders and small waist would taking steroids make me look too big and bulky? I know there are cutting roids but will these still put on more size to my frame as this is not something that interests me as I would rather be shredded with 8-10% bodyfat as a mesomorph. I am only 5'9 and notice I look better lean and chiseled. I was thinking of taking steroids to help me look more aesthetic and yes roids don't burn bodyfat as i know. Anyways if anybody has any advice it would be great...thx

I hate to break this news to you but if you are 195 and 12% you are not a mesomorph. Arnold was a meso. Lets be real now ok.

If i had to take a wild guess based on what you have wrote you are more then likely an endomorph

Ecto is thin, meso is average/middle, Endo is fat/bulky. Most people are somewhere between 2 of these.

If you're 5'9 195lbs at 12% body fat you would be considered meso but you were 40lbs heavier before so Id say meso/Endo.

I remember reading that Arnold would probably be 6'2 180-190lbs if he never worked out. A mesomorph is what he always was. The op said he was 5'9 195lbs and 12% bf with wide shoulders and a small waist(meso). I "hate to break it to you" but you're wrong. Let's be real now. You're condescending for no reason.

ok say I'm meso/endo will being in a calorie deficit while doing steroids help me become lean and aesthetic...not looking to get super big. Just curious. I am 36.

Do you know what a mesomorph is ? Im guessing not

So let me educate you

Mesomorphs are natually muscular and lean low body fat. When they workout they build muscle extremly fast and have very low body fat with relative ease

Ectomorphs are very lean not very muscular. Have alot of trouble gaining muscle with huge amounts of workouts to promote growth. They can eat relativly healthy and still be lean.

Endomorphs easily carry body fat and work extremly hard lose body fat and keep it off. Endomorphs need to be careful about what they eat as convert nutrients to fat very easy

The op said he lost a bunch of fat and is still 14% bf. now does that sound like a mesomorph to you

If you are looking to cut bodyfat and get aesthetic you don't need steroids. You need a proper diet. Steroids aren't fat burners. Get your diet right,many if you want help with fat looks and aesthetics add in some sarms

What i wrote was not a slam. Its the truth. As far as steroids. They dont turn you into a shredded person. YOU DO. Steroids dont burn body fat. U do. So what are you eating and how are you working out is the real question.

To be honest with you...instead of listing everything I eat I will tell you that I eat super clean to the point where my wife gets annoyed saying I am too serious about this gym life. It has not been too long for me lifting only 7 months and to even consider steroids is pretty lame on my part. I am only asking as I am curious. I know I need to spend years in the gym and my body fat isn't even at 10% yet. I have a ways to go but I feel like my fat is melting way too slow compared to most ppl who say they lose at least 25lbs in 5 months.
 
Cardio man. And sauna. Sweat it out and burn it off. Steroids do that maybe to some extent. But not like you are wanting. Switch up your workouts. Do more high intensit low interval traing. Keep the heart up which turns fat to sweat. I think you should look into sarms. Better option and will help you lose more fat.

A general misconception is thay steroids make u ripped and buff. Not true. You could pump yourself full of steroids and not much will happen without every single component in place diet sleep cardio proper lifting etc

As rick showed you a perfect setup. Sarms are yes liquid. You drink it. They will help boost your metabolism promote muscle growth etc.

I find I sweat the most when doing leg days and my back days....on chest days I barely sweat and it makes me wonder if I'm training intensely enough even though I am lifting tons of weight with dropsets...maybe supersetting may be the way to go.

Look into hiit training.

I think your right...at 36 the metabolism is so slow and I just need to get this body moving...and hiit will assist in that.
