Seeking guidance and wisdom: 1st cycle

Hello community, I'm going to keep this brief and to the point.
I am seeking advice on what would serve me best for my first cycle. I have done my own research prior to comming here but now I want to reach out to people who have experience.
A little about me: I am 5'10, 200lbs, 24% body fat.
I am in the military, my diet can sometimes not be very regimented due to training. Training though is usually only for a few months straight until we have down time, which is also a few months.
Now... I am NOT looking to bulk and getting massive. I am in the business of staying lean, burning fat, building muscle, staying light but to also move quicker and be stronger then the average individual. I exercise daily to include two a days. Once in the morning with my unit, once at the gym on my own. I am here for the sole purpose of getting advice from seasoned veterans who can help guide and advise me on which path to take, and how to properly from beginning to end, execute my first cycle. Thank you all for reading my post, God bless and take care.

If your bodyfat is high you need to be in better shape to use steroids. How old are you?

Sarms might be a better choice for you here

I'm going on three years retired from the military. As I used to say "I'm not in the business of running. I'm here to fight. If that's not your line of work leave your rounds and get the fuck from around me.' So you're 'in the business of staying lean, burning fat, building muscle...' your diet is an issue due to 'training'. I'm gonna give you my personal assessment brother... you have a shit storm of excuses. Whatever 'business' you're in, you must've closed shop because 24% bf is fat as fuck. What you said sounded great, but you might wanna tighten up... talking that talk and waddling the waddle aren't very threatening to enemy combatants. Maybe you're a Sailor, or in the Coast Guard. I don't know, but your bf% is too high for an AAS cycle. If you're a Leader, you're as fucked up as the calendar year is long. Seriously? If you were one of my Devil Dogs you'd either trim up or get out. And please don't use your age and rank as an excuse... when I retired ppl who outranked me were far and few and I literally looked like I could kill with a stare. 24% bf in the military... how are you still afforded the honor of serving the nation? PT 2x a day? PT as in physical training, or pancake time? I'm so fucking glad I retired.
Please don't get a hurt pussy, just unfuck yourself fat boy.

24% is acceptable BF for army for ages 28+

OP, I agree with what others are saying. If your BF is that high you need to reduce down first.

24% bf at what age may I ask? I'd never brag on 24% being an acceptable standard for a service member unless they were a female. Hey, I'm retired though so who am I to criticize right?? Someone who exceeded the standard, not just squeaking by at the maximum bf% number. I guess 1% lower than 25% of your Warrior body being fat cells is awesome today. I'm done with this thread. It's literally beginning to piss me off way more than 24%.

Can't believe I left my age out. I'm 26. I might be off on my body fat composition tho. I believe it is in the 20's though. But that is going off of the army's standard of measuring body fat. Lemme see if I can post a picture up for everyone.

I said the age, 28+, you can look it up. I didn't say you could or couldn't do anything. I'm just stating the requirements listed... No reason to get upset man, we're just trying to help people...

I didn't see the age, my bad. However, 24% at any age imo is excessive. At the age group, they should either be an NCO, or Junior Officer (non Field Grade) minimum and setting an example for subordinates. I apologize as I was always exceeding the standards of the Physical Fitness Test and appearance standard and was an actual warfighter. Understandably, all do not hold themselves to such standards. However, to state 'I am in the business of staying lean, burning fat, building muscle, staying light but to also move quicker and be stronger then the average individual. I exercise daily to include two a days. Once in the morning with my unit, once at the gym on my own' sounds more like this person is convinced that they are exceeding the expectation. As Per Army Regulation 600-9, Males are allowed the following Body Fat Standards.
However, all personnel are encouraged to achieve the more stringent DOD goals which is 18 % body fat for males and 26 % body fat for females.

Age Group 17-20: 20% Body Fat
Age Group 21-27: 22% Body Fat
Age Group 28-39: 24% Body Fat
Age Group 40+: 26% Body Fat ***So to NOT be boderline out of standard, he'd have to be 40yo, or above.

Personnel who are overweight, including Soldiers who become pregnant while on the weight control program:
(1) Are nonpromotable (to the extent such nonpromotion is permitted by law).
(2) Will not be assigned to command, command sergeant major or first sergeant positions.
(3) Are not authorized to attend professional military schools.

I just tend to take this shit personal bro. Here are our standards (USMC):

Age Group body fat body fat
Men Women

17-20 18 % 26 %
21-25 18 % 26 %
26-30 19 % 27 %
31-35 19 % 27 %
36-40 20 % 28 %
41-45 20 % 28 %
46-50 21 % 29 %
51+ 21 % 29 %

Ya man I had to have fucked up on my numbers. I'm not a fat fuck by any stretch, and I only score 270 and above. I just like you absolutely despise fat motherfucking fucks wearing a military uniform. Age and rank aside, to me, if your gut even sticks out, your basically garbage to me. And I have no problem leaving you behind to finish the mission. Yes I am a leader. Team leader acting squad lead right now. So many people doing drugs and getting DUIs our numbers are stretched so fucking thin right now. So no disrespect to you and your passion man. If only we had more ncos/officers who belived in the things you do, we would have an unstoppable fighting force.

That was mybad. My worksheet says 20% that's still pretty high right?. Is that still to high to start a cycle?

Typically yes as higher bf means higher conversion to Estrogen, but your guys sytem of measuring is at best a guesstimate and not very accurate as usually the guy taping you is a fucking idiot. No offense, but we know it can be off +/- 3% simply by line of sight and person taping imo. Post a pic and we can better judge please.

yes, 20% is too high... you are about 20-22 % from your picture... most generally say 15% but ideally you would want to be in the 12-13% range.. clearly you can use sarms here and they are perfect for your scenario but steroids would be out of the question right now... i can help you with a sarms stack , just let me know
