Protein powder or protein from food,what's the best?

Hello guys, I know protein intake is key when it comes to bulk, like in my case, I'm trying to gain mass and I'm aware I have to take plenty of protein, I would rather to take protein powder, since it is faster to prepare and easier to storage instead of having my fridge full of food to cook, what I do not know is which is the best?
 
Whole foods are always the best, but unfortunately it is hard to avoid using protein powders from time to time, because not always we have the chance to eat enough during the day. All in all, real food will always be better if you have the chance to provide your macro's from it.
