How to prevent acne during/after PCT?

Hey guys,

I NEVER get ANY acne during cycle.. we're talking crystal clear.. but by about the second week of pct (clomid/nolva) I'm covered in acne all over my face, chest, back, shoulders... I am aware this is due to hormone fluctuations, but is there any way to prevent this? I'm currently on accutane from my derm and I want to make sure that I don't have to go through all this bullshit for next pct. Thanks.

While hormone levels are adjusting there's not a lot you can do except try to control it a bit. For me showering twice per day, solitaire the skin, and regular tanning seems to help a lot

Neutragena Acne soap, Clearasil Ultra (both salycilic and benzoyl peroxide) for topical application.

I shower in the am, post workout, and before bed. Seems to help. I don't use soaps though all the time I just rinse off after the workou and before bed. Usually in the morning I'll use some natural soaps and maybe some hair shampoo, natural though. I don't like chemicals on my skin, just chemicals that make me bigger ;)

Wow, the accutane didn't knock it out... damn

Not much you can really do when your hormones are adjusting. All you can do is take precautions like general hygiene, keeping yourself clean/showering, acne prevention like salicylic acid, and tanning. All of that helps but other than that, it's up to your body and how prone you are to acne.

Ive found that if I load up on vitamin c during the start of a cycle, dosage adjustments, and pct it seems to help a bit more than just tanning and body wash alone. Tanning sometimes seems to aggravate my skin more during those times but since the addition of vitamin c (like 1000mg 3x a day during hormonal adjustment periods) it seems to help quite a bit
