Dylan, first I would just like to appreciate you for all of the amazing content and information you have available on YouTube. Very intelligent and informative stuff in a sea of bullshit advice and bad practices. Thanks for keeping it real.
Now, I am a 22 year old man with a stable, good paying job and a passion for powerlifting. I am competing in my first drug tested competition next month and my second is in December. I have been lifting for almost 4 years, starting at a severely underweight bodyweight of 135, and now weigh a solid 210-215 @ 15~% bodyfat. I am deadlifting 500 pounds, benching high 200's, and squatting 315 for reps. I'm not sure if those things mean much to you, but I just wanted to give some background information because a lot of people seemingly want to run gear while having no prior strength base and horrible conditioning which is just utterly stupid. I am not one of those people.
This is something I want to do for a long, long time, and I am very much invested in doing things the right and responsible way. I was planning on getting stronger, slightly leaner, and in better condition by next summer and then running my first testosterone ONLY cycle. My layout is looking something like this:
Weeks 1-12: test E @500mg/week (HCG weeks 12-14)
Weeks 13-14: take nothing other than HCG while esters are clearing
Weeks 15-16: PCT
I also plan on paying for a blood test BEFORE cycling so I have an idea of what my baseline hormone levels are at and getting another one a month after PCT to see if I've recovered. My opinion is that if you can't afford a blood test, you can't afford to take steroids. I am only asking for your input and advice if what I'm doing is responsible, wise, or if you think I am still too young. Regardless, I'm going to keep learning because the anabolic pathway is one that I eventually am going to go down in the future. Thanks so much again for everything that you do.
