This May sound like a dumb question but with the higher protein synthesis of being on cycle would it benefit me to up protein intake to around 1.5g per lb of bw. I normally keep it around 1.0-1.2.

That's not a dumb question. Yes you are fine to increase it to 1.5g per pound due to the increased nitrogen uptake and protein synthesis of being on cycle. Just don't go higher than that. I see no reason to ever exceed 1.5g per pound. All that does is strain your kidneys even more which could lead to problems long term
