Deciding Factor

Just curious as to what the deciding factor was for a lot of you guys to make the switch from natty to Non.

I'm mentally in a pickle right now, I love the fact that I've been natty up to this point but I also feel like I kind of reached that potential.

The gains just aren't coming, I know I'm getting older but I'm not really growing at all, even when working and eating for gains.

I'm looking at this from two different perspectives right now, I'm going to the Dr. on Monday because over the past two years I just haven't felt great, even with being in good shape, I thought it may have had a lot to do with diet but that was really good for the last 5-6 months and I still didn't feel great.

So based on a lot of symptoms I want to get my test checked etc. So medically if I need it it's a no brainer, but If my test and stuff is normal then it's a huge decision.

Was your choice based on necessity (health?) or desire ? both?

Basically I reached my decision based on a few things. I was done having kids with my wife, and after many years of training I was at a plateau. I reached a,point where it was time and I was comfortable with it. First cycle was at 35 years, old

After years and years of grinding it out without any "extra" help aside from creatine and the like, it has been mighty tempting more than once. Haven't made the jump over that line just yet, but I can fully understand why someone would.

43 yrs old 5'9 ,185-192 depending on time of year cut or bulk, right now about 188- 190 13-14 % body fat training for a long time., waiting to see how tests come back and make a solidified decision from there.

Keep in mind you have to come been under 300 or something crazy like that for a doctor to feel you need trt , I think that's way too low

I got an anti aging clinic to give me trt. 420-460 were my numbers. I was paying a high price. Now I see trt. Looking for a doc that will be ok with me using or only do bloods once a year lol

Pm me for Robolics GAINS!

Joe. My decision was made when I went on trt at age 27. I could probably say I jumped on trt a little fast, without exploring all alternatives. But oh well now lol. It's only been a year and a half for me.

i didnt start cycling until my late 20's but i have been around it for a very very long time, coaching, teaching, etc. but i had enough will power and common sense to know that i was not ready by my age to use anything and i held off all that time, even being around it but i think long term, unlike most... i was at a point where i was not going to take it any further... i was stuck at 7% body fat, was not getting any more strength size etc and i had done everything with diet and training... i eased into things, took it slow and have made consistent progression ever since... you will know when its time for you or if it ever is... you wont have that doubt etc...

You have the right mindset bro. That's a rare thing these days. I'm very happy to see someone like yourself put all that work in over the years naturally and build a good foundation and still make a good educated decision before jumping on. I respect that more than I can even put into words

i completely agree... its a breath of fresh air when i see someone with such good sense and going about things the right way... i have HUGE amounts of respect for that

Thanks Gents, I see all these guys coming here with a lot of issues for not doing things right, and I know from research even if I do things right, things can still go wrong.
So I look at it that way, it's a huge decision that could affect my body and all around health for the rest of my life. No rush to jump in, but definitely deciding and bloods will help that decision whether it's jump on or stay natty.

Dude as a natty you're fucking jacked. Enhancement for you is gonna be ridiculous if you choose to dance with the Devil under the pale moon's light. If I was you there'd be no hesitation whatsoever. Even a mild cycle for you will be like hitting pay dirt.

One thing is for sure bud... you're approaching this the way its supposed to be. You payed your dues, you understand how your body responds to training, you know how to manipulate your body composition via nutrition, etc. Get your bloods done to see your baseline and then think hard on what your goals are. You're in a great position to consider running your first cycle and I'm betting you'll respond damn good. Make the decision for yourself though. Theres a ton of benefits but of course not without risks. You just have to reflect on your goals and make the choice of what's worth it to you.

for me personally. the endo put me on TRT. so I said heck I'm already on Test every week so I might as well try a small cycle. that's how it started. but I also had been lifting 10+ years and gained 80 lbs natural. so I felt I was ready

Thx 44 yeah that's kind of what I'm thinking, I put on roughly 40 lbs naturally over the years, my body almost feels like it's starving to grow more but just needs a little something more than food.
So I would definitely try the lowest amount of gear to start and see how I react to that if I make the decision to jump in.

Thx Maxx yes big decision, and damn Spikedeggnog, I thought I put it on with 40 ish lbs, phew 80 lb natural damn!! Nice Job.
