advice on cutting calories

I'm currently on the 12 week Sarms cutting stack. Going well so far and my mood and energy are good along with my regular workout routine. Currently lifting 3-4 days a week with cardio on the remaining days. Some weeks my cardio is more and lifting less as I work shift work and get short on time when working nightshift. With my workouts , my maintenance is 2700-3100 depending on workout length. My current calories for cutting are 2300. Does that sound ballpark to you? One other thing, I've been on my Sarms Stack for a little under 2 weeks. I haven't hopped on the scale yet as I don't want to get caught up in the numbers. However, maybe it's my mind fooling me but I feel and look leaner already. Is this magic?????LOL

When ever I cut I usually drop 4-5 pounds with in the first couple of weeks. Some of this is water weight due to the reduction of carbs. Nevertheless, I see rapid results the first couple of weeks - appearance wise - due to this. I have found the best way to monitor progress is with fat calipers/scale. Even though the fat calipers are not 100% accurate, when measured consistently, do provide I general trend of loss or gain.

Forgot to add that I'm 6ft 2in and 215# I try to hit 200P and my fat intake under 85.

I believe your protein intake is too low on a cut, you should aim for 1.5 g per lb of lean body mass assuming you know your body fat % (unless of course your body fat is ~40%).

I have some fat calipers and appreciate the advice. Last time I checked , my figures were at 16%. I'd really like to go and have one of those scans to be sure.

My low is 200P. Sometimes, depending on what I have cooked or around the house it swings higher up around 224P. I just try and not let it get under 200. Thanks for the reply.

The sarms can rapidly aid what goals you already have, so I'm sure you aren't seeing things. They certainly help bro. Nobody can tell you what diet plan is going to work for you since everyone is different but if it isn't broke don't fix it.

I hoy suggest checking out my diet and nutrition thread for more help on this https://www.isarms.com/forums/steroids-sarms-information/diet-nutrition-basics-101-a-3314.html

Hey thanks for the reply and for mentioning the sticky. I've read it before making this thread. Its really good. They also have one over at BB.com that's a good one.

Most of us refer to maintanence calories as resting metabolic WITHOUT adding in calories burned exercising
So a "cut" would be 200-500 calories below that number
