Guys,
I apologize in advance; this will be a long introductory email. I have been lurking here for about a month trying to soak up as much information as possible, have never done SARMS or AAS in the past (excluding my current TRT), and now want to get some advice on a SARMS recomp stack and advice on a workout routine.
I am 48 years old, 6’1”, 244lbs, about 20% BF. I am currently on TRT at a dosage of 200mg of Test Cyp a week. This keeps my test #’s around 1000 ng/dl, which is where I seem to feel most comfortable. I am using LiquiAromas for AI as the Arimidex my doctor prescribed was drying my joints out real bad.
I have been strength training consistently for about 15 years. I have been primarily focused on bench, squat, and deadlift using a low-rep, progressive overload, training program. Now that I have reached some strength goals I have set for myself, (bench: 425, squat: 540, deadlift: 610), I want to get more focused on aesthetics while maintaining some decent body weight and strength. My current program can leave me pretty beat up and seems like I am always recovering from an injury (joints and tendons) just to have to get back after it again only to get back to where I was a few months ago. Rinse and repeat.
My goal is to be 225lbs at around 12% BF and to gain some size in my arms. (I have never done a hypertrophy routine in the past and despite decent strength numbers I feel my arms are thin for my body type.)
Lastly, I do quite a bit of high stakes offshore tournament fishing. I am the primary angler on our team. It is important that I maintain decent weight and strength in my ass and legs through this recomp.
All of that being said, I am looking for some advice on a SARMS stack for recomp and I am open to any and all suggestions on a cutting / hypertrophy focused workout routine (I know that can sound contradictory). (Not being lazy and asking somebody to lay out a whole routine for me, I can do that, just need some advice on how to gain some mass in my arms while I shed about 20 pounds.)
Thank you in advance for any feedback you have to offer.
