I'm a fan of pure cane sugar with teas (probably why my brain is so damn old acting lol). My wife (from Louisiana) has kind of been infused with the notion that sugar is a cooking ingredient. I tell her all the time if you look at her family members with diabetes and who suffer from obesity it's almost sickening and that this sugar mentality is a major part of that. Sugar, salts... all causes of so many issues down South. I love how when they see me they're all like 'I wanna get like you', but I know that they'll never display 1/1000th of the discipline required to do so. I wrote one a workout routine and my wife told me I was an asshole for writing what I considered a routine they could benefit from because it required actually going to a gym versus doing some low impact bullshit they could do at home and never see any benefit from. Initially when I cut sodas from my diet years ago I lost 10 pounds in 30 days, however I do drink fruit juices and that may in fact be worse in some cases with all the naturally occurring sugars in those. Great video brother.
