I first felt it around 15 years ago, in my early 20's. I instantly assumed I contracted some sort of std. I went to the doc and what they came up with was "nonbacterial prostatitis". Basically I had the one of the symptoms that is common in bacterial prostatitis which they would just give antibiotics for. But I had no symptoms of a bacterial infection. He ended up telling me that several things (stress, trauma, non-detectable bacteria, kidney stones, etc) can cause it and it's difficult to pinpoint with any bit of accuracy. I had blood work done, std test, prostate exam, and some other junk touching and nothing else was done. No medicine and no real explanation. It happens every once in a blue moon but now I just roll with it.
