No need to stress the liver out any further by drinking, sure a lone social drink won't hurt, but why hinder growth and recovery by delaying it with alcohol consumption is my thought. In social settings I might have one drink, but best believe I only attend these gatherings rarely and when the next days are off ones. So for me the one and only day to have a single libation is Friday... which is ass backwards because I'm recovering from training now that I think of it. Damn this video just helped me figure that out! Another solid video bro.
 
Alcohol is one of the only compounds that clears lactic acid well. The down side is all the other side effects that come with it. If you're serious about reaching your goal seriously limit or stop all alcohol consumption. Great video and to me #2 is a biggie - dehydration - once this starts it's a domino effect on your recovery.

Fucking awful. I can't say I don't partake at times but I get mad at myself for it. Can't wait until probation is over so I can take the edge off in a healthier cannabinoid fueled way. Alcohol is a trash drug.

the best thing i ever did for myself was to quite drinking over 5 years ago... i had quit and then i decided 3 years ago to have at it one more time on new years eve because of the huge vip section we had in vegas... what a fucking mistake and since then, i told myself never again and i never forgot how tired i was of feeling like that.. not to mention it destroys your gains... no fucking thanks...
 
This is a great topic that I'm glad was covered because so many questions come up about it, and there isn't a lot of info in it. I do have a few drinks socially myself with the wife once or twice a month, but it's a very rare thing and must be kept to a minimum if you want to succeed. Alcohol can and will set you back on progress

your drinking doesnt count because i know how you do it.. these guys that often ask are telling me their fucking partying etc... a few social is no big deal whatsoever.. but going hardcore.. you have to pick one or the other... i chose my body and health

Absolutely right bro. I was young once and what moderation and being responsible means to them is not exactly what I call being responsible. In this lifestyle you have to choose that life or this life, if you truly want to keep becoming better and better

Wheeeeew! I feel relieved! I don't party but here and there I have a 1 or 2 drinks at home. That's it just to relax. I was worried about it. The more I train the less I want it anyways. Great topic. Much appreciated.
