Vitamin B12 Explained: A new video by Dylan Gemelli

Awesome info Dylan. This video helps a lot with knowing the benefits of B12 and exactly how to dose it.

Lots of folks don't understand how important it is for someone with an active lifting lifestyle to keep healthy B12 levels, and how many people actually have a deficiency without even knowing. Good info here, this is why we will always keep a good supply available!

I supplement with B-12 as well and feel a relatively immediate surge of energy as well as it helps diminish any PIP I might have. Great vid bro.

Good vid as always. I'm curious to what you think about supplementing when already have healthy levels. I didn't look long, but the only thing I was seeing from supraphysiological doses was potential hearing protection lol. I've considered experimenting with it some but I have healthy levels. I had 694.3 pg/mL with lab range showing 200-900 two months ago.

Only good things. There are studies out there. It is literally impossible to overdose on vitamin B12. The highest they've done is something like 10,000 times the normal dose or level.

Because B12 was (well still is I think) used as an antidote to cyanide poisoning amongst many other things. I think mercury and monoxide too. It floods a lot of receptors and deactivates poisonous compounds. But the point is that it takes a very big dose STRAIGHT INTO the bloodstream to do this, and the side effects only ever seen are skin reddening and a bit of dizziness/headache, which very rapidly decline as the vitamin is absorbed.

The blood test values are simply the normal expected human levels, but can be greatly surpassed with only benefits.

Heart health, brain function (especially focus and memory) and overall energy levels are the most common reported benefits of high level b12 supplementation, but acne is definitely a widely reported side effect in people taking more than is advised. 1000mcg every 5 days or so is a really common protocol for the best results.

The only thing is, anything mire than 1.5cc I can taste the B vitamins and some alcohol. No biggie though. It goes away about an hour or two after

I pinned 5cc initially and 1cc ew afterwards. Feel great, energetic for the most part and if I am fatigued I take a 1cc bump to jump start myself.

5cc? Lol damn. What's the dosage per ml

Hell I forgot bro, would have to check when I get to the house. Either way I had my son do the same prior to start of football camp and it's helped him quite a bit as far as maintained energy.

I eat about 30-40 eggs a week as well as steaks & plenty of tuna. All of those are high in B12.Can I still see some benefit from injecting it or would it be overkill?

Absolutely mate. That's half the issue and sort of why injectable B12 exists - because B12 in edible form can be poorly absorbed no matter how much you eat.

In-fact I don't believe it's absorbed period without the presence of another *something*, hormone or mineral or amino, can't remember what.
