Question about trt dosage and mass gain

Hey Dylan, (or anyone else that is knowledgeable on this topic) I'm 57 years old, and up until 1 month ago, my doctor was giving me 300 mgs. of test every 3 weeks, and I finally got him to give me 300 mgs. every 2 weeks, but this is continuous TRT, not a cycle. Can I get good gains on this, and do you have any tips on what I should/can do to make more gains? Thank you brother!
 
Split into weekly injections are most ideal, and diet is where you can make big changes to help progress
 
300mg every 2-3 weeks is asinine. 150-200mg PER week is what you need to look into. I bet your doctor is older too.
And Viz. I know you're a big dude. But that's a high trt dose. More like a blast than trt. Careful my man.

a blast every 3 weeks though. Those need to be split into 100mg every week. Must be a hell of a rollercoaster ride like that.
 
what ester of test are you getting and what are your stats? age/height/weight/bdoy fat?

I'm getting 300mgs."Delatestryl"-(Testosterone Enanthate) every 2 weeks. I'm 57 years old, 6'0"tall, 190lbs. (I just lost 36 lbs.over 5 months) and my body-fat is around 13-14%.
 
Yeah but the problem is, he was giving me 300 every 3 weeks which brought me into the "normal" range and that's all he was concerned about. I kept asking him to raise me to a higher level on the scale, but he kept saying, I don't want you to get prostate cancer." Anyway, a month ago I told him I still felt run-down so he said, "Okay, I'll give you 300 every 2 weeks instead of 3. Anyway, I'm a newbie with this for muscle building so that's why I came here for advice.
 
You would only be in normal range for a length of time before the levels wpuks fall because of the half life of test E compared to your injection frequency. Thats why you need weekly injections, so you don't get the rollercoaster effect and have steady blood levels
 
you dont use trt.for muscle gain...you blast if you want gains

for long term health your trt should only be enough to bring you into normal range and reduce your symptoms
ie 700ng/dl

it is foolhardy to use trt to boost serum test levels to the top or above the high end reference ..thinking it will aid gains....its not good for long term health

best course is moderate trt ...and blast twice a year for muscle growth

Okay, I`m new to this so, what do you consider "moderate," is that 700mgs. per ? And what does "blast twice a year" mean? Thanks!
 
700 test level. No greater than 800.

Anything past normal range is a blast, and should only be done a few times a year.

you are extremely confused... he never said to DOSE it 700, he said thats where YOUR LEVELS should be and that would not require much per week.. 125 mg per week should have you in that range

Spot on advice right here. Another thing is when you cruise at a reasonable level to keep you in the middle normal range it will baseline myostatin and keep that low, so when you do blast you will get a lot more gains than if you cruise higher. Thats why I'm not a fan of these guys cruising with higher test levels, or even adding in low doses of other compounds during a cruise. It's actually more counterproductive to long term gains. A cruise is meant to have your body at complete homeostasis
