I'm a hard gainer as it is and while yes I can gain if I can't get to the gym or my diet falls off gains start to quickly go away for me, and with my job I'm in the field training a lot out of the year 🇺🇸, so I'm away from the gym and don't have access to the amount of calories I need.. Any ideas how to at least maintain size while I'm out there? or things I can take with the most keepable gains?

Preparation. You need to think ahead, get a good quality protein powder for when you legitimately can't have food. (Don't rely on the whey powder though, food is ALWAYS the better option). I prep meals as much as possible, and if I know somethings coming up and I won't have a microwave, I adapt. Maybe make a peanut butter sandwich with double PB and bring a whey shake. A glass of milk and PB sandwich can be 400 calories easily, so focus on healthy high cal foods that you can prepare and take with you.

And track what you eat and work out your calories for the day. You might not even be eating as much as you think you are. Are you looking for specific meal ideas or just advice in general?

Sorry bro... I do not buy into the hardgainer excuse or the "too busy to eat" excuse. If you want something bad enough, you'll find a way. Preparation is key. I've worked incredibly hectic jobs where I'm on the go constantly, only home enough to sleep for a few hours, and then back to the grind, and I was able to consistently get in my meals and training. Pre-cook meals, pre-pack meals in a cooler, keep it with you and eat them when you can. Even though whole foods are recommended, if time is really tight, there are so many bars, shakes, etc nowadays that you can fit in if you're short on time. Biggest advice: pre-plan.

I would have to agree with all of this. Where there is a will there is a way. You just have to put forth the effort, be disciplined and do whatever it takes...whether it be prep meals ahead and take them wherever you need to, etc....and you should be able to find the time to workout, even if it meant sacrificing sleep! I did it with a newborn baby with a wife that worked nights, and I was working 12 hours a day! It can be done. I did it
