Confusion about recommended cycle times

I was wondering when you suggest a certain amount of time to run a long ester (for instance Deca 12-14 weeks) , am I counting the time that it takes for the ester to clear in that recommended time? To be clear, what I want to know is would I stop Deca at 10 weeks with a two week clearance for a total of 12 weeks or would I run it for 12 and let it clear after the 12th week?

If you see it advised to run it for 12 weeks, that means inject it for 12 weeks. The clearance time is completely separate from cycle time.

Like test prop or NPP, those only take a few days to clear out, so 8 weeks means inject them for 8 weeks, and the same applies for any long ester.

If we factored clearance times into cycles, you'd be seeing people recommend 28 weeks on EQ and any other U ester compounds

Deca is fine ran for 12 weeks right? If you do this, is it smart to extend your PCT from 4 to 6 weeks for example?

If so, the only thing you extend is Nolvadex and Aromasin right? Or should you also extend the Clomid?

This clears it all up perfectly. When cycles are recommended, it is the total length to administer those compounds. It has nothing to do with the life those compounds will be in your system

Yes, Deca is fine to run for 12 weeks. Deca can be a bit tougher to recover from for some people, and it's can be a good idea to run pct a bit longer and just go 6 weeks instead of 4. It's always good to be on the cautionary side, I would run the Clomid and nolva both longer if you decided to extend It

deca definitely needs to be ran 12 weeks... it has one of the longest half lives of any steroid...

I would say with deca, 12 weeks would probably be the minimum I would run it. 12, 14, 16 weeks are pretty common with it, and like mentioned above, it is a little tougher to recover from due to the long half life and the effects it has on your body.

Extending your pct to 6 weeks isn't necessarily required, but it wouldn't hurt to err on the side of caution and run a full 6 week pct. It could only help bro.

I once ran deca for 16 weeks and did a really shitty pct (info wasn't as available back then) and looking back, it probably took me 4-5 months to feel even remotely close to normal again, so the better pct you run after a long nandrolone ester, the better off you'll be!
