Hey all.


Just curious if you’re maintenance is 2200 calories and your doing 250mg of Test E a week + 5 days gym and clean diet, what would / or should you go cal wise....

0.5lbs gain a week (2500 calories according to my fitness pal)

Or




1lbs gain a week (2700 calories according to my fitness pal)


I’ve always aimed for 0.5 when natural due to not wanting to put on fat.

Ideally i don’t want to put on fat. With AAS, is 1lbs a week doable with no fat gains?

That’s the final question I’ve got for my AAS bulk when I come round to it.

I would aim for 300-500 calories over maintenance regardless of being on cycle or not, if you are trying to gain size. Everyone is different on how they will respond, so try starting low At 300 over and adjust accordingly
 
I think I will hover at around 2000 for this week to try and work out my maintenance.

I’ve dropped cardio a bit and added an extra (5th) day to my plan to hit chest and calves twice in a week.

Hopefully I will find my maintenance easily. Diet has to be 1000 % accurate to get it right I guess haha
 
generally on a bulk, you would want to be a minimum of 250 over maintenance but more so likely 350-500... i say to start a touch lower because sometimes compounds have a stronger or lighter effect on peoples' weight gain... its a trial and error type thing... but a MINIMUM of 250 over to start
