It doesn't matter when you take it. Some people do prefer mk677 and Mk777 at night.
 
To add to stevesmi's point on MK-677/777 timing — the reason evening dosing is recommended is that it aligns with the body's natural GH pulsatility pattern. The largest endogenous GH pulse occurs during slow-wave sleep (1-2 hours after falling asleep), and MK-677 amplifies that pulse rather than replacing it. Evening dosing means the compound is active when the natural pulse would occur.

Morning dosing shifts the benefit toward appetite stimulation and daytime IGF-1 elevation, which is useful if caloric intake is your limiting factor (bulking phases) but can cause lethargy during the day for some users.

For a recomp or lean bulking goal: evening is optimal. Take 30-60 minutes before bed. Avoid large meals right after dosing — the appetite increase can make it hard to not eat, but late-night eating undermines the body composition goal.

One thing to know about MK-677: the 25-30mg range shows minimal additional benefit over 15-20mg for most people in terms of GH elevation, but significantly more water retention and appetite effect at the higher doses. Starting at 15mg and assessing response at 2 weeks before going to 25mg is the smarter protocol.
