Cycles generally crash HDL (good cholesterol) which come back on their own or can be enhanced with a product like Gw50156. Most statins target LDLs (bad cholesterol) and there is very little change in those from AAS or SARMs. Certain statins such as Crestor will simultaneously raise HDL and lower LDL, but the effects take about 2 months to kick in - longer than a PCT. also, with any statin - your values will go back to where you started as soon as you stop.
Bottom line is its not worth considering.

You sure that's true? I've read statins do not discriminate between HDL and LDL.

They sure do brother. Here's how it works. There is a formula to calculate total cholesterol which is based off of HDL, LDL and triglycerides. Heart disease is LDL and triglyceride driven - meaning that a reduction in these values has a definite reduction in heart disease. Any LDL value over 100 is bad - no matter how high the good cholesterol is. Same for triglycerides even though the actual norm is 130 and 150 respectively. Preventive cardiologists will tell you they need to be < 100. What usually happens with people with high cholesterol (say 300) is that LDLs and Triglycerides are way up but HDL is typically low or low normal. The statins specifically target the LDL to lower it while also raising HDL (depending on the statin). You can read online or from the drug literature exactly how much they will reduce LDL based on the dose (typically 40-70%). FYI - From personal experience with Lipitor -
My pre drug levels were 225 total, HDL 70
LDL 125 and Tris 100. 20mg 3x per week (all I can handle to avoid muscle cramps) is total 185, HDL 90, LDL 80 and tris 55.

Interesting thanks. So you've never had issues with testosterone levels while on them?

I don't think that's a good idea at all. Something that I would recommend however, which should be included in every pct, is using GW from www.sarmsx.comhello I wanted to ask you opinion for statins to lower cholesterol after a cycle.? this is a million dollars forum.thanks....[emoji2]
