Excess estrogen - restlessness, agitation, depression, anxiety?

baterst

Banned
I recently had my blood level of estrogen tested, and it was slightly above the maximum medical range. I think the range for males goes from something like 7-45 pg/ml (at my lab), and my result was something like 50. Anyway, I am waiting for getting an order of Aromasin delivered, but I was wondering, could my symptoms of: restlessness, agitation, depression and anxiety, be due to slightly elevated estrogen? If so, would they disappear instantly as I get my estrogen lowered with the AI, or will it take time?

yes and yes. mine was 54 after a cycle and I was all pmsing and crying and shit. lol as soon as I got some arom on board it was all good lol. my wife actually said I was bitching out lol

You do that shit just because it's 9am, or any other hour matter of fact...

All of those symptoms are very common side effects of having elevated estrogen, so get yourself into better range and it should help, you out with all of that.

How did your estrogen get so high? Are you on a cycle without an AI?

Get that aromasin in you bud and I bet you start feeling better. I have a friend that got really bad anxiety from having high estrogen.

everything you listed all coincide with elevated estrogen... yes, of course those symptoms will alleviate once its treated and taken care of... i would start with 12.5 mg every day for 7-10 days... assess and drop down to every other day if symptoms are lessening...

RickRock - Do you think 50 is really high? I haven't run a cycle. I just played around with some pro-hormones (pregnenolone, etc) months back, and some vitamins and herbs.. I guess any one of them could have been estrogenic.

I have letrozole on hand. Should I try to use that before the exemestane arrives? The symptoms are really hard to handle. How should I dose the letro to be on the safe side? is 2.5 mg EOD ok? Any issues to watch out for?

EDIT: When I search for "restlessness and estrogen" on Google, this forum thread is the 2nd thing that pops up. Haha. I guess not too many sources out there link estrogen to restlessness.. Only one study I saw that estrogen may cause restless leg syndrome (RLS), but that's different from the restlessness I have (where I'm pacing back and forth in my room, due to restlessness)

in the 40's is on the high side, so yes, its high... super high? not yet but its on its way and you would be a complete fool to let it get any worse... its not in a good place, it could be worse but you DO NOT want to have that happen

NO, do not use letro right now

just because "google" is not popping up several answers means nothing... you have to understand how google rankings work etc. plus isarms is quite high on google rankings... that is meaningless on this discussion... it definitely is a side effect with estrogen... perhaps not the most common but absolutely it is.. wtf does depression lead to? restlessness definitely falls right smack dab in the middle of that, right? so you have to understand that one symptom leads to another etc...

Thanks Dylan,

But why your recommendation against using a smallish dose of letro? Couldn't I just split the 2.5 mg tablet into four and take, say, 0.6 mg? In your video on letro you say it's the most potent gyno cure, and to be honest, I have a bit of puffy and sensitive nipples too (not full blown gyno I think, but a little there is). Is letro really THAT BAD and HORRIBLE with extreme side-effects? I mean, am I bound to get insomnia and other issues from even a small dose?

its a last resort and your not at the point you need it.. you can do whatever you want man... you dont use letro if you dont need it... i told you exactly what to do... if you feel that you know a better way then by all means, go ahead with it... however you have a problem that i have tried to alleviate for you... so what you do from there is up to you
