I love when you're done with a session and you stand there and account for all you did and say fuckit and squeeze in something that can always be worked a lil' more like delts because you're just that fucking pumped. It's also a great feeling to be laying in bed at night and to think to yourself 'I could hit the gym right now if I wanted' because you nailed your meals/hydration/rest ratio before laying it down that night. Or to catch a mid-day nap, wake up and look and feel like you are the swollest person on Earth.
Happened to me yesterday after my no gi class. I was beat all day then went to roll at 630 pm...by 8 I was hurting and tired but just wanted to keep going and going.
a lot of times when i have those days, which is often, i go back for spinning class or yoga etc... its really great to mix in things like this and to get the benefits... its important to utilize the energy when you have it but also not over do it...
I've been having that feeling most days this blast. I track every set religiously and the progress I'm making at almost 35 is just a great feeling. I remember being 30 and thinking it was all over lol
