Simple First Cycle

Below is my original post. I'm aware the macros are way off. I don't follow them. I never have. It was a mistake. I'm uncomfortable with all the different information I've received about dbol, so I'm not going to do it. I've decided to only do a test-e cycle. This is safe. This is sufficient. I'll update by Monday.

I'm a 23 year old student and I've been lifting intermittently since I was 13 and training seriously for two years. After about a year of research and consideration I've decided I'm ready to run a cycle. I will be using this forum as a diary and uploading a pdf of my pre-cycle bloods and body pictures shortly.

Stats:
5'9
180
12%bf
Max Bench: 250 DL: 405 Squat: 345

Diet:
Calories: 3612
Total Carbs: 304g
Total Protein: 446g
Total Fat: 107g

I'll probably eat a bit more once I'm on cycle so this will be increased incrementally as I progress.

The Cycle:

Weeks 1-6: Dianabol (25mg ED)

Weeks 1-12: Test-e 500mg (250mg Monday & Thursday) and Arimidex (.5mg EOD)

Two weeks go by...

Weeks 15-18: Nolvadex (40mg/40mg/20mg/20mg ED)

And that's about it. What I'm looking for is any advice or input on diet, first cycles, the compounds I'm using, what, if any, changes I should make in my lifting while using, etc. Anything you can offer is greatly appreciated!

Limit that Dbol to 4 weeks. 6 weeks is too long for Dbol.

I also agree that you have protein way too high. 450g for an 180lb guy is crazy high. Don't exceed 2g per pound of body weight


PCT needs work. Here is what you should be running that is available in one stack from pure essence

That PCT looks good. And yeah, protein is at least 100 g too high. Shit, I only have about 300-350 a day and I'm 100lbs heavier and still growing haha
 
You guys are all right about the protein. It's not what I actually consume. I calculated those numbers two years ago when I didn't know what I was doing and have since deviated from that diet. I thought they were on the up and up so I copied them from an old excel file but they're way fucking off. It's somewhere around 350g now that I think about it.

Now that I am older, I do realize the importance of my diet. I've slowly put on lean mass by eating good foods and listening to my body so I haven't crunched the numbers in a long time. This is something I definitely need to do before I start the cycle. No room for error or waste.

Wow...that protein intake is high....I hope you have some killer kidney support....I am 290lb powerlifter and only taking in 400, on a good day, anything over 2 grams per pound of bodyweight is wasted and can cause adverse sides. I am at about 1.5 per pound....just my opinion
 
Educate me, if you could. Since I'll be running 12 weeks of test-e regardless of whether I did the 6 or 4 weeks of dbol (I'll heed your advice here and run 4, I know how toxic it is) would the PCT be the same? If so, why?

Sorry if that's unclear. I'm just confused as to how dbol affects PCT in a cycle like this.
 
You're right. It's an inaccurate number that I calculated awhile ago. I don't, and haven't, actually consumed anywhere near that much protein.
 
Yes PCT would stay the same. That PCT is perfect for a simple cycle like yours. And if you're going to run Dbol, I'm pretty sure you'll need Cycel assist along with it for protection. Someone with more knowledge may chime in and solidify the use of cycle assist.
 
First off, your calculations are incorrect: That comes to 3963 calories, not 3612.

Dbol for only 4 weeks. (the dosing is fine).

I run arimidex and have no problem, but most prefer aromasin.
 
If I were you, I'd run just the test alone as a first cycle. This way, you know exactly what results you got and from what compound. Your first cycle will be the best. If you start having any kind of side effects, you will know exactly which one it was. Run the test. Get a feel for what you got out of it, then I'd use droll on the next cycle.

The pct I posted is adequate to cover you for pretty much any AAS cycle. The exception would be those that stayed on for years or something that would require a bit more extended pct

You've already gotten a lot of great feedback but to second what's already been said I would also substitute your current AI with aromasin. Rick gave you a solid PCT and I would def consider adding SARMS on the front end of your cycle, as well as PCT. GW is especially a good one to run because of it ability to help maintain/promote a healthy lipid profile during a cycle.

Anytime I run an oral I also run TUDCA and NAC
