Protein question

We all know that when we eat protein our body will convert it to amino acids and its the building blocks of our muscles so i always go with 1.5 g per pound for instance if i started to take 2 g per pound as dylan suggests to stay between 1,5 to 2 g per pound , will it help me to get more gains ?

its not like its going to get you an extra 10 lbs. bro.. now you are kind of overthinking... while you do need more protein for muscle building, you never want to over do it... could it help to go 2 instead of 1.5? perhaps to a point, yes... anything crazy? no but it could help add some extra muscle to you... i would not go any higher than that because it can cause you to put extra strain on your kidneys which is not necessary nor wise... its a fair and good question but don't overthink it brother...

generally 1.5 is going to be what most go with when they are on cycle... that's where i tend to be at.... perhaps a little higher but my body has always responded well to that amount... i also hit my macros well with carbs and fats though too... its all weights and balances...

There is defnitely a broad range of answers and opinions on the subject. I personally aim for 1.5g per pound and no less than 1g per pound. 2g per pound is a little high in my opinion, but it all comes down to what works for you. Some people may respond to higher protein better than others, same as carbs, fats, etc....

Everyone has to find the macros that work best for them

I personally aim for 1.5 grams per lb as well and that works for me.

you will generally find a consensus of 1.5... i've done 2 before but realoy didn't notice much difference..

1.5 is the norm and anything higher depends on your caloric needs and careful monitoring of type of weight gained. It's common sense thinking, not so much quantum physics.

that depends on whether i am bulking or cutting. when i am cutting i eat alot more protein then when i am bulking i eat mostly Carbs.
