Rhynoplanet said:Thanks everyone. Ok some stats. I am 40 6'2 and 218 lbs with a body fat of 12-14. I did one cycle when I was 20 or 21 not knowing anything and saw really good gains but was only able to maintain my strength after, lost all definition. I for years was focused on strength and didn't care how I got my calories as long as I got them so this lead me to being 295 for years I until three years ago I decided to switch up my diet and got strict. The fat flew off and I was able to keep a lot of muscle but lost some strength. I then started my own trt three months ago at 250 mg a week and the got prescribed trt a month ago at 100 mg a week. I am now taking the prescribed dose of 100 and supplementing my extra 250 a week.Anyways I feel amazing and the biggest difference being on test now is my depression is gone. I suffered from depression for many years. I have also noticed much better sleep and more energy and of course better results in the gym. I know people are going to say my self dose of trt is too high and that is fine. I am being followed by a doctor but no blood work until September and then I will know how my numbers are. Until the I will enjoys the 350 mg a week. Looking forward to learning here. I am in Canada by the way.

Rhynoplanet said:thanks Rick and Dylan. As for some more stats I can give you my powerlfiting numbers. Raw when I was 295 lbs squat was 600 lbs, bench 435 lbs, Deadlift 655 lbs. Currently at 218 lbs (bodyfat now 11.5 % today) my squat is 525 lbs, bench 405 lbs, and deadlift is 550 lbs. For some reason my deadlift went down the most iwth the loss of bodyweight, weird because I actually thought that one lift would stay the best with losing fat. ANyways, I am doing well with my strength since starting to diet and only getting stronger for sure. These numbers are under strict powerlfiting rules (not gym quality lifts).

Thanks Rick. I am still trying to increase strength but also incorporating my diet into it as well to look good now and not carry a lot of fat. I never want to go above 15 % bf again.
