How large of a calorie deficit?

If it is short term you could push it a bit, but I wouldn't go 12 weeks @-500....200 you should be fine as long as you get results
 
go 500-600, beyond there is just pushing it and you will feel like absolute crap, and wave the muscle mass goodbye

I personally prefer recomping over a longer period of time eating maintenance calories or SLIGHTLY below(100-200 cals) some people think recomping is just spinning your wheels but if you train hard and take the right compounds it is much better than a straight deficit imo

I've been recomping for my past sarms cycle and it's gone great. I've gained a couple pounds of muscle and dropped a couple pounds of fat. I'm pretty sure it's very difficult to recomp in single digit bf though. I always keep my kcals around 150-300 below maintenance.

Nice bro same I recomped nicely on osta solo... definitely gets difficult as you get leaner you will need to eat a true deficit to shed the remaining fat and with that will sadly come some muscle loss no matter what compounds you are on... (except maybe tren lol)
