First cycle advice

Hey Everyone -

My name is Dez. Im doing research for my first cycle and am searching for advice from the experienced member on this forum. Ill start with my stats:

Age: 28
Height: 6'4
Weight: 185
Body fat: 9-11%
Nutrition: Clean (50/30/20 460 carbs, 275 protein, 80 fat)

I have always been very active and fit. I have been doing martial arts since I was 6 and competitively since I was 12. I am a hard gainer but to me thats just an excuse to eat a lot. I do martial arts and train stunts everyday and lift 4-5x per week. Ive been reading and doing research on what I want to take for my first cycle and thought I would pick your brains here at adrealinerushforums. I found out about the site through Dylan Gemelli youtube page.

Goals for my cycle: I work in the film industry and I don't want to blow up or cycle on anything like d-bol which would give me massive gains and a "juiced" look. I am more looking to add 10-15, even as high as 20 pounds of lean keepable mass (in a 8-12wk cycle) while cutting my body fat down a couple percentage points and increasing my strength and endurance. For this reasons I am leaning towards Anavar, Turinabol, or SARMS for my first cycle. I was originally attracted to Anavar (stacked with small dose of test) for its mild side affects and solid gains but the price definitely factors in. I was then drawn towards Turinabol (also stacked with small test dose) for the same reason as Anavar but at a slightly better price point. Just today I have been introduced to SARMS. Now I don't know too much about SARMS but from the little I have read and researched in the last hour they seem very intriguing and they seem like a comparable substitute to Anavar or turinabol for my situation. I also plan to do a proper PCT and Aromatase Inhibator as needed. I still have a lot of research and planning to do before I actually start a cycle and I'm open to any advice (Im not stuck on var, turin or sarms and I will consider any reasonable advice) but I want to get some help for all you guys out there with experience. Thanks in advance for taking the time to help a newbie out!

How long have you been weightlifting seriously? reason i ask is b/c at 6'4" only a buck 85 is real low muscle. i just dont see you having that much workout experience, ive been lifting for 10 years, i am 6'5" and i am 225 lbs 10% and i havent done first cycle yet. i am same age 28. when i started i was 17 or so and 160-165 lbs. i can see you easily putting on 10 lbs if you start lifting heavy and eating more protein - the 50/30/20 i dont think is good man, id do a 40/40/20 or a 45/45/15. you can switch it up how you want but you are eating very high carbs with only 275 protein? i mean if you are super active ok that is fine but i still wouldnt eat upwards 500g carb at a buck 85 i know you are an ectomorph, i am ecto somewhat as well BUT its the protein that builds

as for the cycle goes, i havent tried TBol obviously, BUT i heard good things about it and it seems to fit your goals of Recomp. dude you said you dont want to blow up but you want to gain 20 lbs LEAN in 8-12 wks?? That would be considered blowing up in my opinion. thats 2.5 lbs a week LEAN the only thing different would be DBOL will have water retention. TBol wont be ran 12 wks though you know that right? TBOL 4-6 wks, and you use a TEST base, like TEST CYP + TBOL...because TBOL is suppressive just like any AAS.. Most people on here agree on everything, and they will recommend any beginners first cycle to be TEST only. and i agree bc you dont have experience with TEST and injecting PLUS Orals would add more complications, like liver toxicity or cholesterol or hair loss or blood pressure, etc. and that is too much too worry about for a beginner.

with that being said, i am sure most people here will recommend a SARMS stack over using AAS for you right now.

You are too thin and too fat.You must be using very light weights. So you may want to cut back on all of the very active aerobic type stuff and focus on some strength and bulk training. You need 12 weeks of sus 250, and if you want to add sarms then fine. You are old enough to use test, but you will need to get a good weight lifting routine. I am way older than you and 6'2 and 197 and 8%bf, and I get called skinny, so if you are 6.4 and 185 I would say you loo pretty thin in clothes.YET your BF is a little high. Your shape is screaming for heavy weights

I have been lifting for the past 8 years (with about a 2 years off due to injury.) , now the question is what is seriously to you? I have never really focused on putting on much size but rather staying fit and toned. My strength, weight and physique have definitely improved over the years. 8 years ago I was about 160 at 6'4 and one of those kids who couldn't do a pull up or a set of 20 pushups to save my life. These days I go to the gym and I know what I'm comfortable with, I have my routine and I knock it out. I push myself but I have always reserved energy for my martial arts and other activities. I want to now focus more on bulking and pushing my limits in the gym. Truth be told I have been completely fine with my size and physique but I am trying to nab a role in an upcoming film where I need the extra weight. I am super active. My entire day normally consist of 1-3+ hours of martial arts training, lifting and working construction so I am always on my feet and moving. I will definitely up my protein intake and monitor my carbs. I do think I need the extra carbs because I burn so much but I will play with my intake and see how my body responds.

Putting on 20 pounds is definitely on the high side and I know I want to stay away from the water retention. I would be more comfortable putting on 10-15lbs. If I can hit 200 at the end of my cycle I will be happy. (But I guess that is still blowing up)

seriously to me would be exactly what you described, as you wanting to focus on bulking and pushing limits in gym. lifting hard and heavy weights consistently. i never do that much cardio because i lose weight easily and i dont feel eating more. I do light cardio every week but I know for me personally, when i am ready to cut down it will be very easy to Shred with heavy cardio. I have just been focused on bulking since i started working out - so i have no problem with extra fat or water retention, so i stay at about 10% year round. i would like to be under 10% but for right now i just need to focus on mass. later i will focus on BF %.

if you need the carbs for very heavy cardio then do whatever you need, as long as youre not gaining fat, BUT i would still up the protein especially since you are trying to gain muscle mass, and once you start lifting heavy you will need extra protein.

Ok...lets say I am going to do dumbell curls. I will do 4 sets of 8-10 reps. How much weight do I use? The weight is heavy enough that I do the first 8 reps very cleanly but reps 9 and 10 are almost not doable but I do them. For me the weight is 50lbs, for you it may be 35. It does not matter. Ok so 4 sets dumbell curls then 4 sets kambered bar preacher curls then 4 set bent barbell rows, then 4 sets tricep pulldown then 4 sets bench press then 4 sets seated press. Maybe that will be good for upper body. Other exercises could be added but I am trying to give you the mass building exercises Then lower, 4 sets frontal squats, 4 sets deep squats, 4 sets deadlift, 4 sets leg press. It is the fact that the weights are heavy enough so that rep #8 you are having a rough go! Notice..no bodyweight movements at this time during this period. If you want to do dips then take a chain and put some plates around your neck and 4x10. Now you keep saying how active you are. Great! But not for what you want to do right now. Just a heavy weight routine and very little aerobics and a lot less "active". This may put 10-15 lbs of muscle on you in 3 months if you use 250 sus or other test. So what do I mean by serious? 4 sets of 10, and for me...serious is 8 sets of 8. When you are done with the weights you will not be able to do kung fu and jump rope or anything else. If you go for 8x8 you will not have strength left to pull your puddin...dig? It takes every ounce of your strength to do a good routine. If you do a good routine then it is hard to sit on the toilet. This is the kind of workouts we do. Then you eat and then you sleep and then you wake up and start over again.You eat more and you put on muscle and some fat. Then you decide what weight you want to be.
 
I definitely wouldn't recommend steroids right now. You have a lot of growth potential before resorting to steroids. First and foremost you need to get your diet right for growth, which seems like you may be lacking. After that you can possibly look into a sarms stack like this

1-12 LGD 10mg per day
1-12 S4 50mg per day
1-12 MK-2866 25mg per day
1-12 GW 20mg per day

PCT

Clomid 25/25/25/25
GW 20mg per day
